PWInsider reported that the Hall of Fame ceremony will take place after SmackDown this year. So SmackDown will end at 10 PM (9 PM local time) and they will then set up for the ceremony. It will start at 10:30 PM and go for 90 minutes until midnight. I really worry about how this will look on TV. I imagine a good amount of fans stay but I also can see some leaving after a show and not wanting to wait 30 minutes to see another 90 minutes of speeches.

The way they did it last year with no crowd was to make the speeches at the top of the entrance ramp. Wonder if it will be similar or if they’ll do it in the ring like prior ceremonies.

Will it be pre taped? I'm also curious if the Andre the Giant battle royal and Smackdown men's tag title matches will get stuck on Smackdown again rather than be on the Kickoff shows. They need some matches for that Friday night.

They could motivate some fans to stay by putting a quickie dark match in between the two. Just take two upper card guys and have them just use their big moves on each other for 5-10 minutes.

To be honest, I completely expected them to forego a Hall of Fame ceremony this year and the report doesn't confirm if it'll be live on Fox or on Peacock either.
Regardless, the fact that they're doing it live and hope to wrap the ceremony up in ninety minutes after a two hour "Smackdown" and thirty minute intermission sounds disastrous.

Why not the Hall of Fame BEFORE the Smackdown?
Then they can call the show the Hall of Fame Edition of Smackdown!

So, it will be Smackdown, 205 Live, & then the Hall of Fame. What a long night of wrestling. And it will be head-to-head with AEW Rampage. I'll probably watch it another time because once I'm done with my records after 205 Live, I turn off my computer and relax with my family until it's time for bed.

If they have such a short turnaround, they absolutely have to have the ring set up, and I imagine that's where the speeches will take place. However, they will also have the guardrails in place too, which will provide a major obstacle that wasn't in place last time.

Do they even need to have a live Smackdown that night? Pre-tape that shit and film the HoF while it's airing, then put it on Peacock or whatever.

I would not be surprised if Undertaker gets in this year (and maybe Michelle McCool as well).
Mania is in Texas this year after all.

I said this earlier, but here's my predictions: Haku (inducted by either Barbarian or Jimmy Hart) Magnum TA (inducted by Nikita Koloff) Steve Williams (inducted by Ted Dibiase) The Steiner Brothers (or at least Rick) (inducted by Bron Breaker) Cyndi Lauper (celeb wing) (inducted by Wendi Richter) Shad Gaspard (Warrior Award) (Inducted by JTG) Undertaker (headliner)(inducted by Kane) Now granted, save for Taker and maybe Haku, none of the wrestlers made their mark in WWE (in this scenario, Shad would be inducted for something else), but they're running out of guys who are still on good terms or who arent part of the competition, and this would likely be built off of Taker's induction anyway.

WWE has shown before that you do not HAVE to have been primarily successful in WWE to get in.

And if it gets people away from a show at The Collective, all the better.
