My favourite thing about it is when the meme truly started, when Big Show got cut from the N64 game for being too fat and getting sent to OVW.

Right, and it sort of worked in so far as RTC Steven Richards was probably the most over heel that was in the game that they could replace Big Show with, even if he was never presented as a main eventer.

Stevie Richards was really underrated.
Liked him the bWo, loved him in the RTC, even his pairing with Victoria worked.
He could've been a main eventer during the RTC run. Then they just wasted his talent for about 8 years. He was a "regular generic wrestler" on ECW when he had the talent to pull off pretty much any role and make it convincing.
His stuff as Dr. Stevie in TNA with Abyss and Daffney was really good aswell.
