So 2002, onward. I gotta say 2005, followed by 04, and 08

Mid '02 to Early '03 was very good on the whole, especially the PPVs. Smackdown was great week-to-week during this time.

I liked 2009, because I'd taken a long hiatus from wrestling after WCW was murdered, so everything was new to me. I watched ECW and SmackDown every week. I thought the Edge/Vicki/Big Show love triangle was hilarious. My passion for the product didn't last long but there for a while I was really engaged.

2002-2005 were amazing. Although 2004 Smackdown was kinda trash.

2006 although mostly for Raw/PPVs. Smackdown was pretty rough post-Wrestlemania.
Cena/Edge and Trish/Mickie were two of the best rivalries of that era.
Angle vs. Undertaker at No Way Out. Edge vs. Foley at Wrestlemania. Edge vs. Cena at Unforgiven. The tag ladder match at Armageddon. Some lesser talked about great matches too (Cena/Edge/HHH and RVD/Shelton at Backlash, MNM/Londrick at Judgment Day, RVD/Edge at Vengeance, Orton/Carlito at Unforgiven).
ECW One Night Stand and Cena/RVD was one of the craziest atmospheres of modern times.
First world title wins for Edge/Rey/RVD/Booker.
Jeff Hardy returned and looked completely re-energized after a mostly dismal TNA run.
Strong midcard/IC title scene with Shelton Benjamin, Johnny Nitro, Hardy and a still motivated Carlito.
At the time probably the best period ever for the women's division with Trish/Lita/Mickie/Melina.
DX return after months of fans begging for it.
Rated RKO formation and feud with DX.
The rise of newcomers like Kennedy/MVP/Punk/Lashley/Umaga/Cryme Tyme.
Big Show as ECW champion having maybe the best run of his career.

2013 is my choice, although it definitely had some bad with the authority, I think 2014 is when the Authority really got bad.
You had Daniel Bryan's rise in team Hell No, the fantastic "weak link" storyline, and getting his main event match with Cena at Summerslam
Cesaro getting a steady push up the card as part of the real americans, seeming like it was only a matter of time before he broke into the main event
The Shield finding themselves as a unit and going on a rampage
Wyatt family debuting and going on a rampage
Dolph Ziggler with Big E and AJ Lee as Team Rocket, as well as Ziggler cashing in MITB to one of the biggest pops of all time
NXT was just beginning to find it's footing and ended 2013 with Bo Dallas as one of the more entertaining characters in the company
I really feel like 2013 is underrated for how they truly began building up stars for the future and we're still seeing the benefit of the good work they did during this year. Now they ended up squandering a lot of that, but eh we're talking individual years here and that happened later.

2013 (both shows, especially Raw), 2009 (SD and ECW only), and 2003 SD since I mainly just watched Raw at the time and missed out on a lot of good stuff.
