about two weeks ago wednesday, I ordered something from Walmart because they didn't have it in the physical store.
First it said it would be delivered by monday february 7 (today). The next day I received an e-mail saying it was "shipped early" and would arrive that sunday. Sunday night rolls around and it never comes and monday morning the tracking says "shippind delayed" and a few hours later say "order processed" and then "order shipped" from the original location. New arrival time February 7th (today) by 7:00. So it's still the original date, so I don't mind waiting, although I'm weirdly confused.
Today rolls around, and I stayed home all day waiting for the UPS guy. I step out to check at 6:30 and nothing. So I check the tracking number and it says
"The receiver does not want the product and refused the delivery. - 6:27 pm"
WTF? I called UPS and they said they would send in a complaint with the local UPS, and call me back in the morning to reschedule.
I Check back tonight and I see from Walmart
Arrived at facility - 9:51 pm Los Angeles, CA 02-07-2022 9:28 pm Departed from facility xxx CA Departed from facility - 9:28 pm xxx, CA 02-07-2022 8:39 pm The package was refused and will be returned to the sender. xxx GA The package was refused and will be returned to the sender. - 8:39 pm xxx, GA 02-07-2022 8:06 pm The package was refused by the receiver and will be returned to the sender. xxx GA The package was refused by the receiver and will be returned to the sender. - 8:06 pm
And the UPS website says that it's being send back to the original sender in Georgia. WTF?! Apparently UPS customer service is closed for the night so there's no one to take me call so I can't talk to anyone to fix this until morning.

UPS just plain sucks. Every time I see that something I've ordered's coming through them, I get ready for a fight. I've had packages held hostage, packages left at the end of my driveway without any notification (ended up needing to sign up for a free service just to specify front door delivery), packages left in snowbanks, even had a seasonal driver pretty much threaten to break into my house.
Right now I'm waiting on a package from them, which was s'posed to be here Friday. Got delayed due to weather, which I understand because it was horrific out. It was s'posed to be here yesterday and actually was confirmed out for delivery, but somehow ended up back at the facility and claimed delayed again.
It arrived today, finally. About an hour or so after it was s'posed to be here. Driver said he'd finally gotten a good truck so he could make the delivery. Packaging's a bit beat up, but everything's fine.

I double checked and actually my delivery was in two boxes.
For some reason, they returned one and they said they'll try to schedule the the other one for tomorrow.
What? Why would they return half a delivery?

Had it pretty good with UPS lately.
Post office on the other hand. I bought something from eBay and it was shipped from St Paul, MN. It took days to even leave St Paul. Finally got to Baton Rouge. Spent days at the sorting center. Sent to the wrong local office. Back to sorting. Now back in St Paul.

Never had an issue with UPS/ But with the USPS if my package has to go thru Memphis it will sit there for 3 days to 3 weeks before shipping out.

Probably delivered to the wrong address. I've had two orders from Walmart going to the wrong place, both delivered by UPS.

Why would they return half a delivery? Because UPS sucks. The time they held my stuff hostage, I had two packages. Got one on one day and the other on the next because they somehow screwed it up. You don't happen to have the name of the seller you ordered through Walmart from, do you? Because the warning bell just went off in my mind and it's sounding uncomfortably like the last time I ordered something through Walmart. Now there was a saga.

Tonight, the second package was delivered to my doorstep (despite my calling them and telling them to return the other package). What the hell do I do with half a package? Walmart says I have to send it back to them, so they can process it as returned and I have to re order it. But now they don't have it for that price on that website anymore and It's listed with a 3rd party seller for way more money, and no free shipping. What the hell? You'd think a big and rich ass company would be more helpful. Amazon, for its faults, has ridiculously generous customer service for things out of the customer's control.

I wasn't able to re-order what I wanted the last time either, as the listings had shifted to another third party seller for at least $20 more. The last time I ordered through Walmart, it was a third party seller from GA. Didn't bother to contact me about them supposedly not having enough stock to ship me until four days after Walmart had said my stuff had already shipped. This sounded hinky, as I already had a shipping number. I went back and forth with that f***ing company for several days, during which they claimed they'd been having problems in their warehouse and shipping numbers were being switched. Did get the majority of what I paid refunded...eventually, though not entirely. Still paid tax, was $7 something. It was the most frustrating experience I'd had ordering something. This is why I don't fear ordering from Amazon, their customer service is amazing. I've only had one incident ordering from them and they made good on it immediately after I emailed and explained what had happened.

The weirdest thing, I’ve been checking the tracking back to Walmart and although it’s been sent back to sender, it says the sender has moved and it’s being sent to another part of the country. How the hell does Walmart completely change one of its warehouses to a different part of the country in a two week time frame?
