Similar to the discussions of who had the same theme song throughout an entire career with a major company, or was only one face/heel alignment throughout, which wrestlers have had a long tenure with a big wrestling company but only one kayfabe moniker throughout? I thought about this when I realized that Crush was always known as "Crush" in WWF, despite multiple gimmick changes. It's common for a lot of guys to get gimmick changes or tweaks every once in a while to keep from going stale, but only a few never get a name change to go along with any of those. Some other good ones: Chris Jericho, Christian, Edge, The Big Boss Man, The Undertaker (I'm not counting that one time very early on that he was called "Cain the Undertaker", that seems to have been all but retconned and scrubbed from history.) Some that WON'T count: Hulk Hogan (who was "Hollywood Hulk Hogan" during his entire comeback run in 2002) or Macho Man Randy Savage, who for a while was Macho King Randy Savage (you gotta say the whole thing, it's like "A Tribe Called Quest.") Even those who were never canonically connected to their other gimmicks don't count. So not Kane, who was never Isaac Yankem or Diesel, in WWE kayfabe.

Crush was Brian Adams when he returned in 2001, although it's debatable whether he was the same character (I don't think his previous history in WWF was ever acknowledged).
A few from WWF off the top of my head:
The Warlord Hillbilly Jim Koko B. Ware Virgil Andre the Giant Dino Bravo Marty Jannetty Bam Bam Bigelow Honky Tonk Man Jake 'The Snake' Roberts Yokozuna Tatanka

I’m sure I remember Tatanka wresting as Chris Chavis very early on in his WWF run. He did job work under his shoot name, does that count? Possibly. I definitely heard them refer to his real name in the early part of 1992. Can’t remember if it was a match, an announcement about his upcoming debut, a Special report or something along those lines but I knew his real name from hearing it on WWF TV somewhere.

Not sure if it made it to TV, but he did work dark matches under that name.

I should point out that Big Boss Man might be debatable, as there was that late-2001 to early-2002 run where he was in his Big Bubba Rogers-esque suit, and he was being billed as just "Bossman." Yeah, he got the prototype of the name shortener that would be in vogue a decade later.

Yeah, he got the prototype of the name shortener that would be in vogue a decade later. I'd say it was debatable considering Big Bubba Rogers existed. As did the War Machine, Boss (man is he big), Guardian Angel, and Ray Traylor. (EDIT: Oh you mean his WWF/WWE stay only?) Did Mae Young go as Mae Young throughout her whole career? (No wait she was Mrs. Stasiak in OVW or Power Pro Wrestling)

The OP does mention that Ray Traylor was Big Boss Man throughout his WWF runs as to why he should count. Yes, he certainly doesn't count in the wrestling world as a whole, but then again, not a whole lot of people really would.
