Though I agree with SRS, he won't be for long, between Impact still needing to resolve him getting screwed out of the title by Moose and AEW namedropping him in a promo a few weeks ago.

I thought this was thread-worthy. It seems as if his contract's actually expired with IMPACT and it's not a storyline. I'm stunned they'd let him walk away, TBH, but it seems like IMPACT has been parting ways with some talents here or there lately.

I'm shocked Impact would let him go before paying off the Moose angle, I hope we get to see that before he goes elsewhere.
Alternatively it feels classic TNA to have that big heel triumph for Moose in front of Josh's wife and son and then have Josh never get retribution.

Attention "Booker of the year". Whatever you've been doing with Ethan Paige sucks. Can we please get The North reunited instead of his nonsensical team with Scorpio Sky?

I don't think they've just let him go, they're clearly trying to work out a deal with him. Hopefully, he re-signs with them.

Its possible they were trying to resign him and they couldnt come to deal. Considering he got named dropped on AEW thats probably where he will end up. Impact can't match that kind of deal. Impact doesn't have that big of a budget they normally rotate people out after a year or two. Mostly because people get singed elsewhere or things beyond Impacts control (Elgin, Tessa, Ryan.. ect) It seems in the past months due the influx of new talent on the market. They have actually not been renewing some deals, because they have been signing new deals with Johan, PCO, and others. It does keep impact fresh as they are always cycling people through.

He's in a very good position; he's a guy AEW could certainly target and be fully justified in doing so, but he's also in a position where he could still build his name value up even higher before making that jump so he can maximize the pay day waiting. Impact will undoubtedly want to keep him after all they've invested in building him up over the past year, NJPW has booked him of late and I'm sure they'd love to use him more, or AEW could jump in at a moment's notice and he'd be well justified going with any of them.

Josh comes out interrupts MotY. Ethan jumps Sky from behind. Frankie comes out for the save. Boom. Keep Lambert and Brandi the hell away from them.

Eh, I like Men of the Year. They entertain me.
Having said that if you got a shot of reforming The North…you might as well reform The North.

I think Men of the Year are perfectly fine as a duo, they just need to get away from Dan Lambert who is doing nothing for them.
As for Josh Alexander, if Bryan Danielson is indeed forming a technical wrestling camp with guys like Moriarty, Yuta, and Garcia, him being the second-in-command of that group sounds AMAZING.

The visa part alarms me. Really hope that gets worked out. As long as Josh didn't work any shows after his contract/visa expired, he'll be good. Seeing Speedball finally back on the US indies has to be a stark reminder that taking an indie date without a valid visa is a really dumb idea.

Sucks things are hard now because of the pandemic because he would be a perfect fit in New Japan. He could jump between the juniors and the heavyweight division and put on bangers with basically everyone on the roster.
He'd be a perfect surprise for the Owen Hart memorial tournament in AEW.
