Almost all the time.
I don't like people. I don't want to talk to them. I'm very polite and professional at work because they pay me to do it, but otherwise I want to go through my day without being bothered.

To be fair the person phoning you is not the scammer, they're someone who has rent to pay That's true. But like... They're still scammers. Exactly. A lot of them are poor people overseas making pennies while the bosses make the real scam money. I feel for them but they are still aiding criminals. They know what they are doing is wrong.

I usually try not to be, but there are times when someone gets under my skin and I let out my rude side.
My dad often gives me a lecture about my tone of voice and how I allegedly comes off as rude, but it's also when I try to sound as normal as possible.

I feel for them but they are still aiding criminals. They know what they are doing is wrong. They also might know they have rent they can't pay without the job, is my point? Like, I am lucky I haven't had to make that moral choice previously, but when I worked in cold calling it was because I couldn't get another job. Didn't matter how much I knew the system was BS and I quit at the earliest opportunity but people need to live

Didn't matter how much I knew the system was BS and I quit at the earliest opportunity but people need to live Were you trying to scam people out of their credit card numbers or information for identity theft? Then not the same thing. If you called me trying to sell me something I dont want or do a stupid survey I would just say no and hang up. It the actual criminal scammers that get treated like crap by me.
