Honestly, as someone whose hot and cold with Luhrman's stuff, he does seem like an oddly appropriate fit for this kind of biopic.

Elvis lived one hell of a life, so I'm not sure how they're cramming everything into even a 3-hour film without glossing over a lot of key information and events, but if nothing else, I'm intrigued to see what gets included and what doesn't.

This looks fantastic. I've waited forever for an actual good Elvis biopic (we've had some good documentaries in This Is Elvis and The Searcher), but nothing like this. I'm really excited and as a hardcore Elvis fan, Baz's attention to detail looks stunning.
