Do it in LA, so you have at least one Hollywood regular locked in for the weekend. Possibly, but you try and get Rock for that, right? Especially considering he'll be the one 'Mania's likely built around. You save Rock’s induction for another year, maybe when they inevitably run Florida again.

On the other…I’d say if something like Red Notice 2 comes out next year around that time, Netflix will bite their arm off to have some kind of promotional event involving “WWE Hall of Famer Dwayne The Rock Johnson” at their headquarters.

He should be a class of one.
And Vince should do the induction.

Paul Bearer would of course be the best person to have induct him, but since he's not around, Kane makes perfect sense.

It kind of sad that Paul Bearer passed away since he would had been the perfect person to induct The Undertaker.

First reported by the NY Post…. It seems like WWE finds new ways to remind us of how scummy they are at every possible opportunity.

This was a no-brainer. Dallas, Texas is the perfect place to induct him. Not only is he from Texas, much of his early career was spent in Dallas. I don't think there was anybody in 1990 who thought he was going to be a Hall of Famer when he debuted, but almost 32 years later, here we are.

Well deserved of course. Feel like they’re leaving money on the table by not doing a stand-alone show for the ceremony, though I guess that’s a direct result of the 2-day WrestleMania setup.

Vince inducting Undertaker would be a cop-out for me, even with the outside of storyline connotations.
It’d be like if Bryan Danielson was inducted to the ROH Hall of Fame by Gabe Saplosky. Sure, it makes sense in some ways but use that to give it to someone who meant something to them outside of making money from them.

I can get that and it is a big shame But like you said, there’s no place to fit it in the WWE calendar for the week and even with them being confident in their brand, it’d take a hit to the Hardcore if you put it against any of the Spring Break shows or anything along those lines.

I'm imagining a 40 minute speech to rival his Big Show in the desert promo.

First reported by the NY Post…. It seems like WWE finds new ways to remind us of how scummy they are at every possible opportunity. Yeah, it's a shitty pub. I wonder how many people they shopped this to that turned it down, first. In any event, I know Taker's a polarizing figure in some ways (with good reason), but I also think he's honestly more loyal than anybody that's ever worked for the company. It's a no-brainer. I really hope they do something special for him and don't do the same thing they did last year. Last year's was terrible.

Yeah, it's a shitty pub. I wonder how many people they shopped this to that turned it down, first.. I figured it was a bit more like they signed deals with publications and had it be a revolving thing, like how it’d be in CBS Sports for this exclusive and TMZ for another, just a weird mirror of deals to try and spread stuff around. I’d be shocked if there wasn’t some kind of “bidding war” for HOF news and they happened to win out for this.

He should be a class of one. And Vince should do the induction. A few years ago, I said that whenever The Undertaker is inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame, it should be his night and his night alone. And I stand by that. Turn the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022 into a one-night celebration of The Undertaker. Have all of his great rivals, partners, and running buddies come out and offer speeches, toasts, remarks, hell, turn it into an ersatz roast if you want. But if it's a two-hour spectacle, the first 90 or so minutes should be comments from the likes of Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman, Ted DiBiase, Kane, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Godfather, JBL, Rikishi, etc., and then The Undertaker gets the mic for as long as he wants.

I’d agree with this and I think this would be the best option—but I don’t think it’ll be just him; since we already know Jeff Hardy was asked. So they’re obviously looking at others for this year.

This induction can only be done with a local man.

Kane should absolutely induct him but Foley is another great choice. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was McMahon himself either.

And now the 1990 Survivor Series’ Million Dollar Team of Ted DiBiase, Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man and Undertaker have all been inducted.
This is also the first time all participants in a Survivor Series match are HOFers, as their opponents, the Dream Team of Dusty Rhodes, Koko B. Ware and the Hart Foundation are all inductees too.
