It’s really telling, and not in a good way, that performers like AJ, and Seth, and Drew, and heck even Sasha, who used to be presented as a big deal. Feel like afterthoughts now and seemingly have no firm plans for Mania. There’s still 6 weeks of build, which is a long time. I’d venture at least AJ and Seth will have featured matches, I’m guessing against Edge and Cody, respectively.

Now he's looking to be in the Andre Battle Royale. DAMN.

I was going to come in with the trivia here of "No wrestler had been world champion in the time since the previous WrestleMania and only ended up in the Andre battle royal at the next one", but this had already technically happened with the very first one at WM30 when they had Ziggler and Del Rio in it, although to be fair they did load it with a lot of upper midcard guys (Big Show, Mysterio, Sheamus, the Rhodes brothers, even Big E who was the IC Champion at the time) to give it cred that year. If it did happen with Big E, he'd be the first to end up in it having been world champion in the preceding three months of the same calendar year, even if it was just for most of one day of it. Just gotta hold your breath on this one.

He took them both out like they were nothing. Why should we care when the guy running WWE so obviously doesn’t?

Because they’ll continue presenting them as big deals when they’re away from Brock, and the crowd will be into it. Similar to how the narrative of what actually happened in that Brock-Ambrose match changed by the next Raw.

Roman vs. Seth vs. Lesnar just adds so much more than a straight up 1 on 1 match. Especially when he’s forced to put something up to keep with the Winner Take All theme TITLE VS TITLE VS BABY!!!

I don't expect any 4-star matches on this show.

I don't expect any 4-star matches on this show. Becky-Bianca AJ-Edge Rollins-Cody Orton-Riddle Reigns-Lesnar All easy contenders. And if Rousey gets back to her prior form, her and Charlotte had a classic at Survivor Series.

Similar to how the narrative of what actually happened in that Brock-Ambrose match changed by the next Raw. No, not this time. Because they will also keep obsessively emphasizing how dominant Roman and Brock were and showing replays of Brock effortlessly destroying everyone. Vince has given any pretense that he cares about anyone outside of Brock and Roman. The fact that AJ and Seth were not allowed to do anything to Brock, says it all.

Outside of tonight, Brock will be on Smackdown. AJ and Seth and Riddle will still be presented as big deals on Raw and will still be over.

Well atleast Seth has 2 clean wins over Brock and took the title From him 3 times

Orton-Riddle depends on what sort of mood Randy is in and if he brings his A - Game. That match has just as much potential to be a snoozefest as a four star match. And the last match between Roman and Beastie Boy at 'mania was not good, Brocks matches with bigger dudes can be really hit or miss.

Rey and Dominik vs The Miz and Logan Paul sounds absolutely rotten, and why the hell is The Miz getting help from a non wrestler? That match has absolutely no business being on the card - in kayfabe, the Miz had the worst year of his career in 2021 and Dominik needs time in developmental.
Edge vs AJ on the other hand? F*** yeah, this has serious Angle/Michaels 2005 vibes and this has a fair chance of being the best match on the card.

Two hall of famers in Miz and Rey, one teaming with his son and the other a celeb. Seems a perfect Mania undercard match. They’ll probably have Paul involved one night and Knoxville the other.

I mean, it's not like he was presented as a strong or even competent world champ, and a few months later, he was eaten alive by zombies.

That world title win was one of only FOUR matches he'd win for the entire year (4-16-0), one that also saw him suffer his first major injury, if I remember correctly.

It's two dudes who are currently stale, one of whom has done almost nothing but lose for the past two years, and a dude that needs to go back to developmental. And the celeb was brought in by the heel, instead of the match having 2 full time face wrestlers in in, when 1 face and a celeb vs two heels would work so much better. And that celeb is Logan Paul. He is an absolutely huge downgrade from Bad Bunny in almost every single way.
