"Keep On Dancing" was a cover, originally done by The Avantis in 1963. The Gentrys recorded it in 1965.

"Keep on Dancing" is great, but it's definitely a case where the energy of the studio version doesn't match the actual live recordings. It's as close to proto-punk as you're going to get from that time period.
