I hate this show, dawg, hahaha. You try to get invested and then it’s like me when I haven’t played TEW for a while and I straight up forget to continue a storyline when I come back to it. But they playing every week!!!!
Oof.

But they playing every week!!!! Oof. It was a nice hook and in any other year it should been a WM main event feud If not for Brock, they most likely would killed 80 percent of plans they had and went for this match. I do think Roman beats Brock and becomes a double champ and Seth beats him for the WWE title after Mania

Even I got caught up in the hype of possibility but it’s pretty obvious that nah. They DID book the finish that way so they’ll probably revisit it. Maybe as soon as after WrestleMania.

It really really sucks that narratively the answer to all of Head of the Table Roman's cracks in his armor and his deep down insanity always just gets followed up with "more importantly than all that bullshit he's REALLY REALLY cool, probably the coolest guy ever and wins!"
Running a top heel like that for as long as they have gets more and more absurd each time they default to Cool Heel.
I was amped to see more of that heel but kinda face leaning Joker-esque Seth too, it felt like his character was really evolving having Reigns to antagonize, then as soon as the DQ's done he's back to the "he laughs that's it he LAUGHS boo him he's LAUGHING!!!!" guy

I didn’t mind them not continuing the feud straight after but for goodness sake at least acknowledge each other exist after the match is done. If you’re going to give us a crappy finish to a match at least tease something for the future.

It would be one thing if WWE had a knack for storytelling, where you could count on something like this coming back later even if it seems like Seth got robbed of his one chance at Roman.
But it's WWE, where the next time Seth and Roman are on screen, it's just as likely to be as Shield buddies as it is them remembering this ever happened.

This is why the Tribal Chief wore thin on my real fast tbh. It's the exact same narrative they tried to push with Roman in 2015, literally the EXACT SAME forced booking. The only difference now is he has a character that finally clicked, and they were able to actually coronate him and have it stick. Now that it has though, they won't let go of him, and they got what they wanted. Roman's the top guy, and everyone else is laid like corpses at his feet. Just like before, except now "HE'S THE TRIBAL CHIEF AND HE'S COOOOOL" If he had actual development in the past year and a half it might still be cool, as it stands? This has killed an entire brand, the roster proves it, the Mania Main Event proves it. You could tell exactly where this was going and how hard this was gonna plummet the second he stacked Edge and Bryan on top of one another and pinned them, and so did the audience that night. This sucks, and there's no end in sight.

Watch as they low-key adapt the collector of belts saga with Roman and he also takes the NXT title...and Seth gets that

They've clearly got their plans and they're going to stick to them, sadly. I wish they would have done Roman/Seth in the Chamber if Seth wasn't going to win that match. At least that gets Goldberg off the card.

This sucks, and there's no end in sight. It’s also weird because he wins a lot of his matches through BS. Interference, the top rope breaking inexplicably, etc. so they have him get “tainted wins.” But then they almost, pretend like those wins weren’t tainted to show how “dominant” he is? It’s very bizarre?

I'd like to think if Lashley wasn't out for 4 months, they could do a scenario where Lashley faced Brock and Seth faced Roman and they beat both leading to the title vs. title match the next night since they were the two screwed up finishes they were protecting them for.
But, well, that can't happen so Seth has to do something else, I guess.

I feel like when it comes to the Shield, wwe has done good storytelling. Well, except for the Ambrose heel run
