I liked No One Will Survive, but I kind of see the point he's making below. I will also admit, I guess my TV was low and I didn't hear it last night, it's kind of got a fun epic beat to it. I think they can make those "fight to survives" sound a little more growly, but I get it.

Ciampa strikes me as one of those cats that Vince really likes on a personal level, but doesn’t actually see money in as a performer

I think he's somebody that actually will wind up a trainer or something. They clearly see something or they wouldn't be building around him as the vet of NXT is my guess.

Honestly, it’s something that should happen more often. Because even if you don’t like a change, you can at least try and see the logic or mindset behind it.

Feels like there’s a lot of these “actually I like these changes!” comments from the NXT call ups that inevitably turn into “actually I didn’t like those changes” after they get released. For Ciampa’s sake hopefully this ain’t of them cases.

And I fully expect him if he ever leaves the company to completely flip his opinion on the song change and be like...oh loved the message but the song f***ing sucked.

Sorta sounds like when Steen dropped "Kill Steen Kill" for "Fight Steen Fight". I do like it.

Also his character has evolved from the Blackheart to this grizzled heart and soul of NXT B&G veteran so the change makes sense. It doesn't just seem like change for the sake of change/f*** you Hunter move that other things have.

I really liked his old theme but it’s not the biggest deal in the world that he’s changed it. Good on him for addressing it & hopefully we can all move on & show him support & positivity in this phase of his career.

Possibly, but I feel there's room for a sudden AJ level "where have you been all my life?" type super push.

It is telling that he's been paired with Ziggler, who Vince seems to use as the modern equivalent of an X-Pac or an Owen Hart or a Tito Santana, the guy whose opinion of the new guys he trusts.


Where Ciampa goes AFTER that will be even more telling, though!

Yeah, theme music is a huge issue for both. Unless it's a licensed song or a theme that has been around years I couldn't tell ya who a vast majority of people are when entering. I kinda gives AEW a break since they're going and still trying to find their way on themes but WWE has no excuse, IMO.
