So for this Sunday's ladder match, we know 5 people so far in Wardlow, Keith Lee, Powerhouse Hobbs, Ricky Starks and Orange Cassidy and live Friday we'll find out whether they're joined by Ethan Page or Christian Cage but considering the match's history of surprises (Ethan Page and Brian Cage debuting in the second and first versions respectively), this year would be no exception.
From the names I've seen thrown around, we could potentially have...
Claudio Castagnoli Shane Strickland Josh Alexander Jonathan Gresham (ROH Original World Champion, company just acquired by Khan, good way to promote it) Miro Jeff Hardy (long shot but he's technically a free agent now, even though Tony's gone on record saying it might not be as obvious a signing as people think) Samoa Joe (another long shot but why not put his name here?)
Anyone else? Think it'll be any of the names here? Discuss!

If Andrade wins on Friday, having Jeff Hardy there would make sense as in they could easily connect the dots from there to that PP v the Hardys match that's been speculated. Also having him in a ladder match is always a no-brainer.
So yeah, I'll go with Jeff Jarrett.

If the 7th man is winning, I'm thinking Miro. If not, then Strickland.

My brain is 80% certain it’d be Swerve, 20% chance it might be Castagnoli.

Think it will be Swerve or Hardy. Cesaro kinda has to win I think if he’s the surprise & since Wardlow is surely winning unless Spears stops him Cesaro won’t be in the match. Don’t think a loss really hurts Jeff or Swerve if they have a great showing.

Wouldn't Claudio have a non-compete for a while?

Wouldn't Claudio have a non-compete for a while? Nah, contract just expired. He's a free agent.

My initial thought was it would be Swerve, but then Claudio became available, and they might just push Swerve's debut to a different night
It's not Jeff, his non compete isn't up yet, unless he got out early
Jay White is not one I considered, it'd be a legitimate surprise and I think he'd have to win it if it was him
Miro I'd certainly have zero complaints for, non surprise but return wise.

I think Jeff Hardy...the ladder match is his signature match and it makes sense to debut him there. But it's super exciting how many viable options there are. Can't wait for the PPV.

Looking at that list, besides possibly Jeff (who I wouldn't hate) but it wouldn't excite me as much), there isn't anyone who I'd be let down by. I'm in the Miro camp but I can't bitch if Tony gets the rights to Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel and Claudio comes out, you know.

Claudio would be an insane pop, but if it were me, I would have Shane Strickland come in. I think Keith Lee should win, but maybe have Shane help him in some way.
He is also close with Darby and Sammy, and right away he can be a huge part of their story and the TNT title picture.

When is Jeff’s non compete up? The 10th Just for the sake of discussion, I think it's important to note that Tony Khan would very likely have the ability to buy out the last 3 days of the contract and debut him early. It wouldn't necessarily be cheap, but it wouldn't be prohibitively expensive for TK, either, particularly with the contract being so close to lapsed.
