What hype? They weren't the standout guys from Bullet Club, they were the solid filler who made the bigger names look even more impressive. It's like if the WWF signed Scott Norton and Buff Bagwell from the NWO, both had upside but neither was a huge get, the loss nothing close to enough to harm the faction.

they always seemed to fit best as "the tag guys in a faction" but on their own they didn;t really have anyone to bounce off of so to speak since neither was really the straight man to the other's hijinks. i didn't mind anderson but gallows came off as trying too hard a lot to me.

They're over with the boys in the back, and they're smart about who they are associated with, which means they're constantly given opportunities in various companies. Finn Balor, AJ Styles, Kenny Omega. They choose who to team with very wisely. I've never been a fan of them though, and it feels like most crowds are of the same opinion. That is also key I think they told a story about how their was an overseas tour coming up and they weren't going and Seth was like wait a min we need you guys on the road I am going to talk to Vince. They are very good lockerroom guys and solid hands but you don't build your tag scene around them |

In AEW, they irritated me but were fine as guys to lose matches so the Bucks and Kenny didn't have to
Compared to their WWE run their AEW run was like Demolition
Absolutely appalling in WWE

They weren't a tag team - they were a faction without a leader. With AJ, they could have been effective but then they turned AJ face and, when they put them with Finn (presumably to try Finn turning heel), it didn't work because Finn is Mr. Rogers.

They could have done more with their characters, for sure.
As for their wrestling? VERY, VERY overrated. They're as normal as can get. Not bad by any means, just....there.
