Like say
Magical ultimate warrior in wcw. Especially the magic mirror.
Years of WWE invisible camera man, magic bray Wyatt and his teleportation powers, and the wackiness of Lucia underground has made this seem rather normal now. I guess the sticking point was that Buschoff didn’t see him but the commentators could, but still funny.
I hated those TNA funeral skits with team Jarrett and team Canada because of how cheap 90s cable drama it looked and the wacky meta jokes, but that’s norm now, so I don’t hate it anymore. Granted, everyone else like it and it’s not considered wrestlrcrap, but I did complain a lot at the time

Wrestlemania 9. There have been worse shows. And I don’t think the Hogan ending was as hated back then as it became later on.

I still hold a lot of that stupid Undertaker, Warrior sh*t against them and their respective companies, just for normalizing it and making it "okay" for other stupid sh*t to come later on. If anyone tries to justify teleporting Matt Hardy or a dumb spot with "LOL BUT UNDERTAKER RISING OUT OF THE SCREEN IS OK," f*** them.
I agree on Mania 9, though. The in-ring action is actually pretty good, it's just that the finishes are almost all horrible. Either nonsensical or lazy, or both. But it's a much easier watch than more recent 6+ hour slogs.
He's not a Wrestlecrap inductee per se but I've softened on Jimmy Valiant over the years. He played his role well, wasn't booked against his strengths, and was a legitimate spot-town draw. And even if the Paul Jones feud lasted forever, Dusty was smart enough to keep those guys together instead of trying to push Valiant as a legitimate World title contender.

Honestly, as far as WM 9's issues go, I don't even think the ending is anywhere near the biggest one. It's not what I'd call ideal, but it at least satisfied a number of people.
I feel like the bullshit ending of the Hogan and Brutus tag match was dumber. I know Hogan would probably not have wanted the tag belts, but it at least would have been something different for him. I do like his match with Yokozuna down the line, so, I guess I can accept this ending, since the later one doesn't happen without this ending, and therefore no King of the Ring match.
No, the biggest issue is Tatanka vs HBK. They should have put the title on him. Change that one result, and a lot of the general vibe of the whole show improves quite a bit.

The IWC in 1998: Chucky feuding with Rick Steiner? God this is the dumbest thing ever.
The IWC in 2021: Chucky needs to feud with Bron Breakker. DO IT WWE! DO IT!

The Slaugher-Hogan feud continuing after Wrestlemania VII has become endearing 30 years later thanks to Mean Gene's weekly updates being delivered deadly serious like Walter Cronkite reporting a national tragedy. The fact that he plays it both so over the top and so serious really makes for a unique presentation.
Also, that first WBF Pay-Per-View is a very entertaining watch.

Bam Bam and LT. It was a great match for what it was, and it was absolutely the most interesting thing WWE could do given their roster at the time.

Boogie was over as f***, and while I don't think he should have been in the world title picture outside of maybe a house show main event or 2, it can be argued that he was wasted in the Paul Jones feud.

WWF circa 1993 to 1996
After the shit WWE has served up in terms of booking (not wrestling talent), I have gained a new appreciation for what was previously the weakest period ever in modern WWE history.

If you ignore his terrible first episode, Rob Bartlett had a fun run. The episode where he imitated Vince the entire time was comedy gold. And he's been on OSW and the Bryan/Vinny show recently and seems to be a really good dude who was grateful for the opportunity and doesn't mind making fun of himself.

The Uncensored cage match between Hogan and Flair. I watched it recently, and it seems like everyone forgets the pre-match talky bit where Flair tells Charles Robinson that he doesn't want the match stopped because of a bloody nose or scratch, and that Charles can use his referee's discretion to stop the match.
On the surface, it feels like they are covering their ass in case someone makes incidental contact with the razor wire on the cage. But in hindsight, it's so obvious that Flair is telling Charles to fix the match for him.

That's probably my most watched WCW ppv. Just pure gold from top to bottom.

Bushwhacker Doinks and MOM Doinks vs Bam Bam/Booger/ Headshrinkers as a kid I loved this match strictly for comedy purposes and I still only look at it for that
