I'll always find it jarring to see a tombstone not be used as a finisher outside WWE.
Which makes me wonder how the move might be used within WWE in future. I guess it's one of those things that big name will have to use first, similar to DX using the crossface. Will it become someone's signature, a shared emergency finisher or downgraded like superkicks and DDTs.
Maybe KO using another Texas legend move for heel heat at wm might work.
Apologies if it's already been used, if that's the case just talk about The Great Khali.

Nah, piledrivers have basically been retired and he was one of the few still allowed to do the move.
I think it gets retired with him.

The yearly Tombstone quota for all of Professional Wrestling was breached last night at Revolution.

Someone will probably bust it out as a surprise in a match, like HBK piledriving Cena after WWE had banned piledrivers almost entirely, but as a finisher they use on a regular basis? Not likely.

Why bother when it’ll just get kicked out of.

Someone that's willing to have bad knees after they retire.

My only complaint about last night was the amount of Tombstones
I mean shit, it happened in EVERY match nearly.
I honestly hope WWE don't have another wrestler use it. I always found it really cringe when Kevin Owens did the Stunner.
Like it or not, casual fans were saying "What, is he trying to be Stone Cold or something?"
That's not good. Be your own man.
