HBK said he had two weeks from the Raw on July 8th, 2002. We all know Nash got injured and that was that.
But what was the storyline to be if Nash didn't get hurt?
HHH leads the new nWo with HBK?

I read after the fact that H was to stay face on Raw and feud with the nWo. RVD meanwhile would be unifying the titles to justify the IC being world title status and the top Raw title. So H and RVD would gave been the top faces on Raw and the nWo the top heels.
When Nash went down they reworked the plans and turned H heel. And he didnt want the IC title so they brought back big gold to appease him.

Triple H vs Kevin Nash was the original plan for SummerSlam so I guess not. At least not initially.

I wish after hulk left the nwo, that they would have evolved into the Kliq with Hbk and triple h... kinda like the Main Event Mafia and dominating the wwe and feuding with the top faces.

I believe HHH vs Nash was also the original plan for WrestleMania XIX but Nash suffered an injury setback and they didn't want to rush him back so they threw Booker in there and....we got what we got.

Probably not. Triple H was in full Protagonist mode during this time and it's like the weirdest shit ever to go back and watch something like him in a 20 minute promo war with Vince. Dude thought PAIN IS TEMPORARY -- THE GAME IS FOREVER would be the next Just Do It.

I'd say "HHH feuds with nWo, then is secretly revealed to actually be behind the nWo, then leads nWo over all the faces while simultaneously intimidating and beating up all the other heels, then turns face and beats the nWo" feels like the safest possible bet on how it would have played out.

Nobody would have seen the Intercontinental title as on par with the WWE title after years of being positioned as the stepping stone to WWE title contention, especially with Trips being among the people who did exactly that in his career.
