Leaving the old post under this, but I'm pretty @#$%ing fed up right now.
A bunch of you are acting like children over a damn wrestling promotion, and we're getting to the point where I'm going to be calling for warnings, suspensions, or outright bannings over what seems like incredibly poor faith, or just outright poor, behavior. I don't know what it is, but the way this company that seems to get a lot of positive buzz online brings out the worst in people absolutely baffles me, and here we are.
This is not a request anymore, these are mandates and rules for existing in here:
-Criticisms are obviously allowed; there's no such thing as a promotion where you'll like everything you see. Go ahead and say what you like or dislike, it's fine.
HOWEVER,
-Don't smother people who have criticisms. Have a conversation, have a discourse, but if someone just doesn't like something then @#$%ing let it go. Let other posters answer the criticisms, or just back off, or just add that person to your blocked/ignore list if you must, but let it go. And stop reporting people because they're saying something negative about the product; I can assure you that the mods will do absolutely nothing about that, because why in God's name would we?
-Cut out the concern trolling bullshit. There's a bunch of you who seemingly only post here when you can stir up shit or try and rile people up because you can triumphantly yell "Look, your precious AEW did/booked something bad!"; you know who you are, and you know what you're doing. We know who you are, and we'll suspend you.
-The whole routine of trying to "prove" that Tony Khan is a racist/sexist/imperialist/lizard-person-ist is f***ing tiresome. It's bad enough in the WWE section but at least we've got 30+ years of history to go by there with some people in that company. Does Khan show thin skin on Twitter? Hell yes, he does. Can we actually discuss his booking without having to fall into the same repetitive talking points that do nothing but derail every thread they come up in? We'd better, or there will be consequences.
Basically, this is a board populated almost entirely by adults, yet apparently a lot of us can't be trusted to act as such because professional-@#$%ing-wrestling, it seems, is just that freaking earth-shattering and important. If you insist on acting like children, so be it, you'll be disciplined like children.
I do want to make clear that while this post applies to everyone who posts in here, it's not directly aimed at everyone who posts in this section; the majority of you are fine in the way you handle yourselves. But those of you who are constantly reporting others or being reported yourself should be aware who you are and the fact that you're making this sub-board a miserable place to be, so shape the @#$% up or get out.
So here's what I want from people for at least the next month or so:
-Stop flooding the mods with requests to deal with people because they're making negative posts about AEW. You look ridiculous.
-Stop starting threads that amount to "Women's division bad!" I'm going to come out and say it: I don't care if someone you're sexually attracted to isn't being used on screen the way you want them to be, get the hell over it. No more general women's division threads until at least mid-May when the Owen Hart tournament begins.
-The aforementioned concern trolling nonsense stops now. Like I said above, you know who you are, and we know who you are.
If any of this is too upsetting, the door is that way, you won't be missed. Collectively, if there's one thing I want everyone to take from this, it's less a plea and more of a direct order:
Grow up.

Seriously, the amount of anger, especially in any thread pertaining to the women's division, is tiring as hell.
Enough.
If you can't talk about your favorite losing without losing your cool, then don't talk about it.
If you can't take people giving criticisms of the product without immediately responding to it, leave the thread, instead, and at least wait five minutes.
If you're playing the concern troll game in any capacity, that's annoying, too, and my patience is worn out on it.
Revolution was a really enjoyable show and all I feel like I've gotten are reported posts from people getting pissy and angry at some booking or another or at one another. Enough's enough, because I refuse to believe a board with adults in it can't just talk about @#$%ing pro wrestling without descending into nonsense like that. I'm usually loathe to give people warnings or punishment for things that aren't explicit rule breaks, but the general tone in a lot of these show threads is obnoxious enough that exceptions are going to be made.
