I saw Eddie Kingstons name a lot. I know he didn’t get signed to wwe, but he still got signed to a major promotion on Prime time cable and Main Evented one of their 4 annual PPVs. If his contract ran out and he chose to go to wwe (which he obviously shouldn’t) he would without a doubt get signed atleast He also could have signed with them if he wanted. They called him after he lost to Cody Yup. He was wary that they'd immediately try to move him into a coaching role instead of using him as an onscreen talent, with his mother advising him that he'd be unhappy if he didn't go to AEW instead.

I'm wondering if the person mentioning the two people we've never heard of was just trolling. I read the post and it strikes me a bit like someone taking the piss, but then that is colored by my knowledge of today.

He went to one of their open calls thought he blew his chance and signed with TNA, only for the WWE to actually offer him a contract. I mean it worked out for him better in the end, but still. When was this? I assume it was sometime in 2016, as TNA was still called TNA at that time and they put him (and wasted him) in the new heel stable of James Storm along with Bram.

Yeah, late-summer / early-fall 2016. The photos of him at the Performance Center Tryout are the one this is from.

Well, they never did sign Rachel Summerlyn.
