The thread about non-intimidating monsters kind of brought this to mind. If we look back, during Goldberg's title run there was another guy going on a lengthly undefeated streak, Wrath aka Bryan Clark. For my younger self the scenario seemed to write itself-a streak vs streak title match. In the end Wrath lost his streak to Kevin Nash as he geared up to face Goldberg for the title, and he never quite recovered until he became part of Kronik. And of course we all know how that ended. up during the InVasion. But still, would Goldberg vs Wrath have been a draw? I can't see it on the same level as Goldberg vs DDP was, but had Goldberg actually been portrayed as a fighting champion Ala Bret Hart instead of the second tier act to the NWO I think it would have made a fine one-off PPV main event. Whatever else we can say about Bryan Clark he was a least capable enough in the ring for a decent powerhouse style showing, and with his undefeated streak he would have made a perfectly credible contender. In my own alternate booking history he would have joined Bam Bam Bigelow and Sid as ultimately falling to Goldberg's streak until he finally dropped it to either Chris Benoit or Booker T as the passing of the torch moment, with the NWO slowly fading into the background to pave the way for a new era.

In 1998, Goldberg vs anyone would've made money.
I think Wrath should've faced Goldberg at WW3 1998. If I remember correctly, Wrath was still on his streak and it ended the night after the show to Kevin Nash.
If I'm booking though, I would've done multiple streaks that collide with Goldbergs. They could've been challengers for not as big of shows. His title reign was really bad, despite making a ton of money. Looking back, I would've gone:
Bash at the Beach: Keep tag match that was originally scheduled. Road Wild vs Giant Fall Brawl vs Jericho Halloween Havoc vs DDP World War 3 vs Wrath Starrcade vs Kevin Nash

I seem to recall Wrath getting over pretty good there for a short time, so instead of feeding him to Goldberg I would have maybe slapped the US title on him instead and let him pick up a few wins over some legit names instead of just having him shred midcarders. They could still feed him to Goldberg when his momentum started to fizzle.
