I'm so sorry to hear this. Keep you spirits up! I can tell you from recent experience, that this will be bad for the near future. No point in sugar coating that. But you will get through this!

Sincere condolences to you and your father.
I can't imagine the hole you're feeling right now... I hope you find little joys in the days/months to come.

You're in my thoughts too man, I know what it's like to care for a mother who needs it, truly, and we just lost my Aunt (Her older sister) this past year to a very nasty cancer, and I lost my father a few years back, so believe me... I just get how hard it is, and the pain that goes with it. You and your family are in my utmost thoughts.

I'm so sorry for your loss. She sounded like a good one. She was complex AF lol..if there’s anything I can say to people, that I’ve learned from my mother, is to take the good with the bad. Be generous. But don’t let people take advantage of you. Be strong in your beliefs, while also willing to change your mind. She shined despite all of her issues. It’s something I love to see in individuals. Shine, laugh at yourself and try to live uproariously. Sorry for your loss. We're here for a place for you to ramble or rant or just as a distraction from things for a few minutes. That’s why I think I made the thread. I really love discussing and reading stuff here. It’s this and facebook for me lol

Fade, my dude, I’m so sorry for your loss but never feel you’re alone, the FAN community will always have your back. Having known what it’s like to lose a parent I’m offering my DMs to be open if you ever need to chat, same for anyone on here
The important thing is you look after yourself and your dad, it’s hard now but the pain eases over time, talk about your favourite memories of her or what not
Best wishes buddy

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose someone close to you, as I lost my younger brother, who was really my best friend, in October 2020 and I lost my father 20 years ago. You never stop thinking about them and I always try to keep their memories alive, hoping I will see them again. The pain will never disappear, it will just become easier and you will slowly be able to eat and regain your normal life. I know what you mean by everything and nothing, the random emptiness and not even feeling real. When I had to drive to the hospital for my brother my mind felt out of body and I was just on autopilot. If things are hard for too long you should see a grief counselor, they do help and often you can find one for free.

I am sorry for your loss. I can certainly empathize as I lost my mother in 2010 (on July 4th, which has permanently ruined that holiday for me). My father has had serious health issues for years now as well. None of that has been easy to wrap my brain around. My advise is to take the time you need to cope and come to terms with it all. It may be a part of life, but it is never easy.
