Cody showing up. It felt like watching a live event in 2012 and Cody appearing. I was hype.

I screamed “YESSSSSSSSSS” when “Wrestling has more than one Royal family” hit. Scared the shit out of my father. 10/10 best markout moment in years, 0 regrets.

It's great that there's multiple contenders, but the way KO/Austin turned into a match and then a greatest hits was so special.

I think it was just Austin’s music hitting. The crowded popped like crazy it was hard not to get hyped from that.

Austin having a match in 2022.
Many people expected Cody to show up, but who could have possibly expected that?

Austin having a match in 2022. Many people expected Cody to show up, but who could have possibly expected that? I can say without any hesitation the vast majority of this board was thinking maybe a KICK! WHAM! STUNNER! not unlike Rowan and The Rock, instead not only did we get some legitimate moves in there, we had some SERIOUS bumps like the suplex on the concrete AND twice on the stage, PLUS he ate KO’s Stunner as well! Not since The Rock 19 years ago has he taken his own finisher, that just goes to show you just how much they trust Owens to make people look good.

Seth in blue lace.
*coughs*
Um. Otherwise, Miz turning on Logan kinda popped me. Cody actually getting THAT entrance did too a little.

Cody by a wide margin.
And by wide I mean probably only thing that really made me mark out from Night 1.

Cody, though I do want to give credit to Bianca and Becky for having a killer match, and Austin for bumping, which I very much was not expecting.
Some credit to Logan Paul for having ridiculously good ring gear. A friend joked he looked like walked out of Tekken.

The fact that Kevin Yanick Steen has a Wrestlemania main event v Steve Austin to his name.

Cody was cool and both Becky and Bianca's entrances were terrific.
But, there's no competition to...
"if you want Stone Cold Steve Austin to compete in a match tonight against this SACK OF SHIT... Gimme a Hell Yeah!"

For me, it was Cody Rhodes' return by far. This was the first major jump from AEW and it felt refreshing. But I'll also mention some smaller moments as honorable mentions.
First, Drew McIntyre kicking out of End of Days. This seems like something only the die-hard fans who keep up with all the WhatCulture factoids would recognize. I don't think they spent any time on tv during the build of this mentioning that the move had never been kicked out of. I know Corbin mentioned it on a podcast, but it wasn't like Chris Master's and the Masterlock challenge were breaking out a finisher was part of the angle. Still, the crowd pop huge when Drew kicked out. Corbin sold it like his life was over, and the announcers put over that this was the first kickout.
Next, having Dominik come out to Eddie Guerrero's 94 attire, most notably his ring gear from the When Worlds Collide, was a nice homage. For those who have been following since the early 90s, I felt it was a neat little Easter egg thrown in there.

Honestly. while there are other good answers, the bit I laughed happily at the most was the big troll job of Logan doing the Three Amigos, the shoulder shimmy and the Frog Splash. Huge heat, lots of fun.

Stone Cold wrestling was a treat. I'm okay with how it went down, and he had a legit match. It wasn't a 30-second match. I loved it! Every wrestling fan's wet dream.
