What pairings of female and male wrestlers had the female outshine the male in terms of being over. Here is my examples
Sunny and Skip(Sunny was more popular and over with the audience where as Chris while a good wrestler. seemed to be over shadowed by sunny in terms of popularity which hindered him till he went to ECW and did no gimmicks needed)
Marc Mero and sable . He was talented.. but without the the johnny b badd gimmick he seemed bland and sable got more popular when he was out of action.
Matt Bentley and tracy brooks. Same as the others Matt was a good worker but being compared to HBK hindered him. and Tracy was more over with the Bentley bounce
Esse rios and Lita. Esse had the talent. but Lita was more popular with the audience and over shadowed him

Unrelated fun fact, because of this pairing and the "winner take all" stipulation, Seth Rollins technically has more successful Raw Women's Title defenses than Sasha Banks, at 1-0. |

Scarlett and... what's his face... bald, beady eyes, D'n'D dude, or whatever his name is... looked like an extra off of Zardoz on RAW, that guy. I honestly can't be bothered to look it up, plus it'll probably come to me when I no longer care to write it down.

I seem to remember Lana being more popular than Rusev for the first couple years, before Rusev was allowed to start showing his personality.

Nah, Trish was gorgeous when she came in to the fed but she also had a natural charisma and really threw herself into her early role as a manager/valet. Plus, by that point Test, Albert and Val were barely getting reactions by their own merits. |

At some point between her partnerships with HHH and Eddie Chyna teamed up with Billy Gunn for a while in a post DX breakup team (I think, timing could be off). Haitch, Eddie and Jericho all held their own with the crowd when paired with her but poor old Billy couldn't.
