So, the bookers must be pretty high on him, considering this is his debut and he's the one directing Lethal and Dutt. If a Seven Foot man that looks like he came out of Elden Ring directed me to do something I'm probably gonna do it lmfao Might be a more equal ground stable, but a dude that tall can command presence... usually... *Looks at Omos and Shanky... and Azeez...* Fair point, however, this is pro-wrestling, and isn't Lethal the contender here? Why is he taking orders from someone he and Dutt brought in?

I think it's the blackout more than anything that marred the ending.
He's a giant dude and normally AEW does a great job presenting their giants. With his comparative obscurity among wrestling fans, the lights out expecting a surprise will always result in a "who is that?" unless it's someone they know. With someone that unique looking, you really don't need to do that and that's just about the only way they could have made the debut of a new giant wrestler a disappointment.

If you say dude's name in the mirror 3 times with the lights off he appears and puts you in the vice grip Healthy young child goes to bathroom, pumped up, says his name 3 times, doesn't feel good and changes - SATNAM! Many such cases!

Unless you're Sin Cara, then I believe the phrase is, "he who points, botches."

For me, this was one of those situations where several little things add up to a big no. I don't think the Lethal and Dutt pairing is particularly hot, blackouts should be reserved for wrestlers with instant face recognition, and WWE's recent dismal record with big guys makes you assume this guy is awful too. Add all of those factors up and it made the debut fall flat.
Singh isn't dead on arrival or anything though. I'm sure AEW can salvage it if the guy can go. I don't think AEW crowds will be as forgiving to a lumbering, immobile big man as WWE crowds can be if he can't, though.

Right, just have him marching down the ramp, with Joe dreading it but defiant and ready to put up a fight, and just have Sonjay and Lethal chopblock him or something from behind until Satnam can get in there and rough him up.

I'm sure Tony realizes this and realizes he misstepped with the debut in presenting it in this way. I think most of the lights out times have been good, but they should have just shown him walking to the ring, I guarantee the crowd would have went "WOOOOAH" at least because the dude's a monster.

He looked like a dude still afraid to hurt Joe which I get, especially in your debut. I'm sure he can do more. He also does have some presence to him. It's fine if he just stands around for a while. But yeah, I'd have switched the Joe match with the tag title match and then the show ends on a better note.

Crabwalking down the whole ramp and around the ring so nobody in the front row notices he's there Satnam Singh if he became crab So, Joe needs to attack his weak point for massive damage.

I had no idea India produced so many tall men. Khali, Veer, Shanky, Sanga, and not Satnam.

AEW's featured talent is such a homogenous bunch of nerdy white men that it felt fun seeing such a different composition of guys making up the main event segment.
Singh looks terrible, but AEW's been woefully lacking in terrible big men to date (Hager excepted, but he's not that big), so it was a nice change of pace.

I do wish AEW would cool it on doing the post-match brawl stuff sometimes. It's can just get a bit too much, and I don't even have a problem with Lethal and co. feuding with Joe, but I just wish in this case they could have just let the Joe win really sink in.
