I had no idea India produced so many tall men. Khali, Veer, Shanky, Sanga, and not Satnam. Khali, Shanky, and Satnam are all Punjabi, too.

My prediction? Khan makes good on this when Joe beats Lethal, and then Singh gets in the ring, the lights go out AGAIN, and this time, Claudio's in the ring, and the first thing he does, is swing the dude to a MONSTER pop
Maybe he won't do this? But they've set it up beautifully if they wanna!

I do wish AEW would cool it on doing the post-match brawl stuff sometimes. It's can just get a bit too much, and I don't even have a problem with Lethal and co. feuding with Joe, but I just wish in this case they could have just let the Joe win really sink in. For real. It would have been a perfect ending to an otherwise great show. Have Joe celebrate, cut to Lethal in the crowd and move on to next week or Rampage to continue and build the feud.

Wasn't feeling it. I'm not completely tuned out of it, it was just one night but nah not a fan. He's definitely not on "Khali during his babyface years" level bad though. That man was walking to the ring like a new pilot operating a Gundam for the first time. This here is just a "well, bad placement and it was his first time doing something like this so it's passable."

I see AEW got The Good Khali on Wish.com I feel bad for this dude tbh, like I know Great Khali is a famous Indian Giant, but no one was calling Shanky "The Good Khali" and he was/is in WWE lmfao

I don't think there's any ill will behind it but we can stop calling him a so-and-so version of Great Khali? It reminds me a lot of Private Party getting compared to the Street Profits and we don't need more of that.

Khali debuted when he was like 34 and even then he wasn't that good. Now he's 49 so yeah. Like, his best matches were from what 2006-2009. He hasn't had 1 good match post 2010s. I admit Satnam Singh looks like he's on slow mode but Khali was looking like he was on "hey your game's freezing" mode.

It reminds me a lot of Private Party getting compared to the Street Profits and we don't need more of that. This I agree with, I get Khali is the most popular giant Indian wrestler to ever exist, but I also feel like it's kinda... awkward, to just immediately call Satnam "Good Khali" or "Discount Khali" Also like, Khali was always pretty over, ESPECIALLY when he went face cause he just knew how to work a crowd, I'd say if Satnam can have a career like that, with being potentially more mobile and better in ring than Khali was, he'd be just fine. But I guess we'll see.

I also wanna see how he moves in actual gear, he had a suit and loafers on here as well and like that can't be the simplest thing to move in when you're a 7'3 man

Dammit AEW you're supposed to be our refuge from giants who can't move for s*** in the ring. Dude was in a suit, and did like two spots... not really sure if that means he can't move in the ring He's also only 26, I know he doesn't LOOK it, but yeah lol What difference does it make if he’s 26??

You can still develop in ring and learn much easier at 26 if you were say... an ex athlete coming into this in your mid 30s? Youth also matters for Giants, it just does, their bodies can be a detriment to them later in life, for wrestling, you WANT to be younger.

No need to yell it lol. I don’t care if he’s 26 or 66. His age doesn’t impact how bad this debut was.

He did have a couple of good matches with Cesaro and Rusev, but obviously, they were able to work around his myriad problems.
