When I was a kid, the following people had tattoos:
1. Bikers 2. Military men 3. Criminals
In short, people you wouldn't mess with. They were like a visual warning sign; "Don't f*** With Me". Once every sorority girl started getting a "tribal" design above her ass, tattoos were over.

My dad has a shamrock on his upper arm. It's so little and inoffensive and he STILL wishes he never got it.

I have an arm and calf sleeve both being worked on...plan on going on to my neck, feet, and hands as well. It's not for everyone...especially the narrow minded. Body modification has become a race somewhat...because we're definitely seen of as less of normal person than others. I intend on having my own business though because suits and ties ain't my bag, and I'll definitely be getting a very small skull by my eye like Lars from Rancid. Why? Because I can.

I used to date this chick who had tattoos on her fists and the palm of her hand. You don't get too many professional jobs after that, unless you wear gloves.

No, because that means I would have to get my tear drops removed and all those people I killed in jail will go unnoticed.
Now THAT would be a crime.

I agree but I do think Mike Tyson's tat looks bad ass...gonna look really ignorant though when hes an old man Well that will never happen. The guy won't see 50. As far as these "free country" people go, just remember that when someone in a decision making capacity exercises their free country beliefs to deny employment or some other benefit.

I hate those pictures...criminals and white trash get the worst tattoos and make the entire community look bad because the internet likes to bring out the worst qualities of everything.
...and people get mad when I want to run over anime fans with my car...pffffft!

I'm covered in tatoos, so I'm going to be partial, but..
There is a law stating-
That if you 10% of your face is tattoed, than at the time that you had your face tatted up YOU MUST of been legally insane. Therefore you can apply for social security checks, and get free government money for the rest of your life.
I know tattoo artists that have been collecting money and been tattooing on the side for years making tons of cash.

earth crisis tattoo chops > greater than you Earth crisis tattoo chops greater than greater than you? That doesn't seem to make any sense.

i just thought i'd add this to the discussion: You know, for a member of the "White Power" movement, he seems like he's trying awfully hard to turn his skin black.

BTW, at one time tattoos used to be an expression of individuality. Now everyone's just getting one because everybody else has one...and they're all lame. Hell, I can't remember the last time I saw a woman's back without a "tramp stamp" on it. But on the face? Good! Stare at your bad judgement and lame-o body "art" in the mirror each day reminding you what a loser you are. Legislation against this sort of nonsense would deprive them of their much needed shame and despair. I say "no". Umm ... I didn't get mine because everyone else had them. As far as individuality is concerned, my tattoos were designed for me by 2 different artists and at the time that I had them no one else had the same designs. Someone else may have copied the designs by now, but they were mine and mine alone when I got them designed for me. As far as tattooing your face is concerned, I think that it may be a bad idea, especially when you get something put smack dab in the middle of your forehead. I did run into one gal from the dark continent one time that had been marked by her tribe, and the markings were on her face. The way that it was done was very artful and beautiful in my opinion. But Tattoos are definitely not for everyone out there. I was accused one time by a very mean woman of getting tattoos for attention purposes. Then I pointed out to her that if I wore a shirt with short sleeves, no one sees them and if you didn't know me you wouldn't know that they're there. Which is a good thing if you have to go out and interview for a job somewhere. I'm gainfully employed now, but there's always the chance that I will have to someday look for employment elsewhere.

On the the subject of face tattoos, I think it really depends on on what it is.
Also, if I if up going bald later down the road, I would serious consider getting a Bam Bam Bigelow (RIP) fire type tattoo on the top of my head. I always thought that looked awesome!!
BTW, I already have several tattoos (Back, Chest, Stomach, Leg)

i've got tattoos and i didnt get them to display my individuality. i got them because i wanted them. each one has its own particular meaning and reason behind getting it. i dont regret a single one. if you dont like tattoos on the face then dont f***in get one. it shouldnt be a "law" that you cant have em.
