on the face.
first off they look huging stupid, second off tattoos on the face could alter a persons appearence making them hard to find if they were to do a crime.
anyone else agree?

What if an ugly person gets a tattoo of a beautiful person on their face? Is that okay?

I agree they look stupid, but your passport is supposed to describe all your tats anyway. A tat on the face is going to make you pretty conspicuous.

I am pretty sick of tattoos. They used to be for bikers and sailers, now everyone and their mother has one, which, ya know, whatever, let the people do what they want I guess. I am just sick to death of the supposedly deep meaning behind one persons tattoos that somehow makes it better than everyone elses. "My tribal band has a deep meaning for me, cause I had this indian ancestor and he..." Yeah...

i think if you want a tattoo on your face, you can get a tattoo on your face. and when im hiring people for a decent respectful job and you walk in the door, i know right away to throw away your application.

I have a tattooed friend, she has one on her face, and she intended to get the irezumis on her arms and legs, and her back is covered by one as well. Her face tattoo looks good, so it works for her.
My brother has large earplugs, and is getting them bigger, they're over an inch across.
It's not a huge issue as far as I'm concerned, it's a personal preference, and some do look good. I want some tattoos myself, but they ain't gonna be on my face, and once my hair is ALL the way gone I might get a Bam Bam style head tat, buuuuut I'd have to be financially secure.

A face tattoo is okay by me as long as it's not something like a death's head or something that could be considered offensive. Tattoos are supposed to be a method of personal expression, not that you're rude and crude.

BTW, at one time tattoos used to be an expression of individuality. Now everyone's just getting one because everybody else has one...and they're all lame. Hell, I can't remember the last time I saw a woman's back without a "tramp stamp" on it.
But on the face? Good! Stare at your bad judgement and lame-o body "art" in the mirror each day reminding you what a loser you are. Legislation against this sort of nonsense would deprive them of their much needed shame and despair. I say "no".

I don't get tatoos because If I want a symbol on my body I'll wear a T-Shirt and if I want to say something I'll come out and say it.
My friend / co-worker has a couple of tatoos and when he was getting them asked me for advice (he was about 18-19 then and I was around 23). I told him to keep them in places he can cover up until he is financially secure, to get one that means something and still will in 10+ years time, don't get anyones name, and just be 100% before he did it.
I have nothing against tatoos what so ever and many people I know have them, and some of them are cool as hell (the got zombies ripping out of their body!), but if you're going to get a tat on the face or any area like that you are going to have to live with the repricusions wether they are fair or not.

Aren't his tatts fake? Excuse my stupidity in asking but I was under the impression that they were.
As for tattoos, I'm not fond of face tattoos or "tramp stamps" but I don't mind tattoos one bit. As the son of a woman that has two tatts (ankle ones), I'm not bothered by tatts one bit. In fact, I hope to get one later in life and most likely on my right arm.

I'm too fickle for tattoos. I can't settle on one handbag for any serious length of time, never mind permanent ink.
I will say this, though. Even though they're "popular" and all that, it's gonna get you later in life if you get piles of outrageous ones. My cousin has all kinds of (badly done by a friend with a shop) tattoos and those big disk-plug things in her ears and a myriad of hardware in her face and it's just not the image serious employers are ever going to want coming in their door.
