But did he react to himself threatening to go to the papers? That is his true greatest moment alongside RNN.

Top Five Randy Orton Career Moments: -That incredible, baffling giant split-leg cheerleader jump he did in the middle of the ring that one time -Wearing a stealth suit to go burn down Bray Wyatt's evil house and break his heart -The Seth RKO reversal, sure -Miracle on 34th Street Fight -"RING THE BELL? There's NO BELL to RING... YOU DID THIS."

Didn't find a video of it, but at Survivor Series 2012 Mick Foley was the mentor for Orton's team. There was a locker room segment where Foley held this big inspiring speech and everyone except Orton was like "hell yeah!". After they all left, Orton went to Foley and whispered "I HATE YOU" while keeping his deadpan expression. It was glorious.

What I thought was really interesting is that Orton said people always ask him what his legacy will be and at the end of it all his will be that besides the Undertaker, he's the next guy in WWE that'll have the most accolades, matches, titles and didn't go anywhere else.

An all time great IMO. A 14 time worlds champion and I know he probably won’t get there but I’d love to see him equal cena in world titles.
He’s had a f***ing colourful and rocky time over 20 years but thankfully he’s been honest about his faults and I can admire that. I know some fans find him dull and boring but I don’t at all. He’s my favourite wrestler of this generation.

I've never understood the "boring" complaints about Orton. Dude just has IT and the RKO has surpassed any other cutter variation, to become the greatest finish ever.

There’s a great promo he did when he was younger and around the IC title scene. It was at some PPV and was outlandishly out of character for him (‘specially at the time). Might make it my mission to find it on peacock today. What I thought was really interesting is that Orton said people always ask him what his legacy will be and at the end of it all his will be that besides the Undertaker, he's the next guy in WWE that'll have the most accolades, matches, titles and didn't go anywhere else. He became the backbone of the company. No doubt.

I mean he at times maybe seemed like he wasn’t that interested but that’s not boring and I don’t think it was disinterest either, it was possible he was so damn good at wrestling that he found it so easy. I think it’s fair to say he’s the most naturally talented third generation wrestler in this sport which is a unique club at least in the US. jim Cornette was asked which of the OVW 4(Cena, orton, Batista, and lesnar) did he think was the best overall and I think he kind of brock it down into the best things each of them did and kind of fudged the question which is fair enough given how good all four are.

Outside of his first run, he’s been naturally him with all his faults and still remembers things from his past. Him saying I Hate You to Mick and the crowd laughing fits cause he didn’t forget what Mick did to him I’m glad now we finally got Orton being somewhat himself and more of a goof with Riddle because he has long passed having to be the Viper character

BONUS: That time Kofi was supposed to rescue Piper from getting punted but they forgot to cue his music so Orton just shuffled around in the ring for like 20 seconds before turning to the hard camera and shrugging.

We get talent that are great but rarely do they exceed high expectations.
