Austin being a Breath of the Wild guy rules (though I agree with Cody that OOT is the best)

Kinda shocked the Our Lady Peace mention was kept in. I’m f***ing shocked they’re Cody’s favourite band. That’s a pretty obscure pull for a dude from Atlanta. That being said, they’re one of my favourite bands.

OLP is my favorite band. So cool to see them get a mention.

I remember when Our Lady Peace were seen as the saviors of Canadian rock for a time. They were huge for years here and are still prominent, so it threw me when Austin didn't know who they were. I guess they weren't as big south of the border.

Wanted to curse my boy out for taking a shot at In n Out but he represented Universal Studios and gave OLP a shout out so…we’re okay, Cody. We’re okay.

Austin having a favorite Zelda game is somehow awesome lol. And I don't even really like Zelda.

Just started watching the episode and what strikes me is how much of an old soul in terms of pro wrestling he is. Even from the first couple of minutes taking about his match at mania, you see that Cody gets the business, and honestly given who his dad and brother are he had two very knowledgeable guys to learn from. That’s what makes the end of his AEW run so baffling. If this is how he sees things it makes no sense given how he had more control in AEW then he will here why it ended so crap in AEW.
Anyway very interesting episode so far.

Anyway very interesting episode so far. He’s a smart guy but also hard headed in his ways. He already said pushing himself out of the World title picture was a wrong move and I think his own little things was just him trying to find ways to make up for it while also not really being forcibly told no. I plan to watch this sometime this weekend

I tried giving it a watch but it was boring me to tears.
I did like the bit about “making things make sense” and not liking dismissing logic cuz “it’s just wrestling”.

I really enjoyed this. The story of Cody winning the WWE title really needs to happen.

Really good listen
Good to see Cody admit his faults. Looks like he's going try his damndest to get the WWE title. Arn told him he needs to do more for him and making this move is sink or swim and Cody is ready for it
I think he was hit and miss in indies for me because they would shoehorn him into stuff but it looks like he's willing to fall flat on his face for doing what he thinks is right for him which I can't hate

That was fun and Cody is so well-spoken and disciplined. It was nice that he gave key founding members of AEW their just due...I also appreciate the fact that Cody recognized the Patrick Bateman references but it's even weirder that I think he kind of resembles Sean Astin now instead though haha.
