Mo from Men On a Mission disappeared a little after Wrestlemania X and never reappeared until somewhere around Royal Rumble or the tag team tournament before.
Mabel was a single wrestler at King of the Ring, Summerslam and Survivor Series but no Mo.
Did anyone miss him or wonder where he was?
I would imagine it was Vince thinking Mabel was a potential big star but from what Mo says it was Shawn Michaels going to Vince because Mo somehow did something to piss off Shawn. Mo goes so far as to say he cried at some point during things. It may be a he said type of thing but it does seem odd Mo was gone for so long yet still under contract.
To me, Mo and Mabel were a team. I never saw Mabel as a single star but back in 1994 did anyone even miss Mo or wonder where he was? Do we even know the real story? Was he really taken off TV and maybe house shows for 8-10 months because Shawn put the bug in Vince's ear?

Mo had a legit injury, which they used the Owen incident to write him off TV.

I always heard it was Shawn having a beef with Mo, taking it to Vince and Mo wound up crying and being taken off TV and house shows. Was Mo injured all that time? Is he lying about Shawn or was it half Shawn/half injury?

I can say in full confidence the question "where's Mo?" never entered my mind.

The only Mo I’ve ever missed was the Mo from GUTS. Outside of that I’ve never missed a Mo.

I didn't realize he was gone...and I was still 11, watching every scrap of WWF a guy could.
Guys just left back then, very, very few got any kind of mention of leaving and that was mostly confined to WWF magazine, in the back.

Is he lying about Shawn or was it half Shawn/half injury? Bret mentioned this incident in his book so its probably true. I think MO got released shortly after

I always heard it was Shawn having a beef with Mo, taking it to Vince and Mo wound up crying and being taken off TV and house shows. Was Mo injured all that time? Is he lying about Shawn or was it half Shawn/half injury? According to Mo he wasn't injured and that Owen Hart "injuring" his leg was simply a work to write him off likely as punishment for him standing up for himself against Vince's Boy Toy. During that whole time Mo was off TV he was still going to all the shows but was never working or getting paid. Vince wanted to release him but Oscar and Mabel convinced him to keep him as Mo had been doing all the driving for them as neither Oscar or Mabel had a drivers license. They thought if Mo at least was still around it would lower the risk of them just forgetting about him and never using him again. I really felt bad for Mo when listening to him tell his account of the confronation with Shawn (which Shawn started) and the aftermath as he said it made him incredibly depressed and suicidal. He wanted to quit but Macho Man talked him out of it telling him that "you should never take yourself out of the game" as once your out there's no chance. At least eventually they started using him again at the end of 1994 however they really buried him bad with him and Mabel losing in the first round of the Tag Title Tournament after Tatanka pinned Mo clean with one finger and then getting eliminated in like three seconds in the 1995 Royal Rumble. I guess at least he was working again and getting paid and eventually I guess kind of got a main event run even if it was just as Mabel's sidekick/manager when he won King of the Ring and headlined Summerslam against Diesel.

No go fo’ Mo.
That said, reading about his reaction to things here I feel bad for the guy. Kudos to Savage for offering advice and support.

Also how old was he? Because the dude looked like he was at least 50 in 1994.

Perhaps the local liquor store missed Mo, as sales dipped once he moved away.

Mo's best moment was lasting 2 seconds in the 1995 Royal Rumble match. I laughed so hard as a kid when that happened.
So, no.
