Scene at the end of Project A-KO heavily suggesting her parents were Superman and Wonder Woman.

The Tiny Toons film has a scene where Fowlmouth goes to a cinema and upon walking to his seat passes Pee Wee Herman.
A very adult joke for a kid's cartoon.

The anime series "The Unlimited - Hyoubu Kyousuke", a spin-off of the series "Zettai Karen Children", featuring cameos by two famous Internet personas:

Last week's Amphibia episode having a Neon Genesis Evangelion reference of all things. Steven Universe had a lot of anime references throughout, but one of the funnier ones in my view was a box in Steven's kitchen labeled, "Revolutionary Grill Utensils", as a nod to Revolutionary Girl Utena. Whaaaaaat the Steven Universe people liked Utena??? No wayyyyyy. Not a specific reference, but my favorite for Steven Universe is that they do the quick nod "mm!" agreement thing, which is hilarious to see in a western cartoon.

In the "Eternals" movie, I was not expecting to hear Sprite compare Kingo's valet Karun to Batman's Alfred, nor was I expecting it when Phastos' little boy called Ikarus Superman. I don't know how intentional it was, but the question about apex predators being answered with "lion" and "wolf" in a movie featuring Jon Snow and Robb Stark, who both have dated a woman named Sersi, made me Crack the hell up.

Finding out that MST3K referenced A Case of Spring Fever long before actually using the short.

The episode of Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad where the lunch lady says her favorite movie was I Spit On Your Grave. And while we're talking about "inappropriate" refrerences, here's one I just learned...not sure if it was intentional or not..."Madame O" on the Bionic Six may have got her name from this: www.imdb.com/title/tt0203663/

My son was watching Super Hero Squad, a kids Avengers sort of show with Dr. Doom as the big bad that originally aired in 2009-2011
What I didn't expect it to do was take a shot at X-Men's most notoriously bad dialogue
In one episode the good guys are chasing Toad, who gets hit with some lightning by Thor
Silver Surfer (who talks like a California surfer dude) says "So that's what happens when a Toad is struck by lightning. What a letdown."

Star Trek Lower Decks has a lot of obscure references. But I never expected to see the infamous Spock helmet toy from the 70's.

There's a G1 Transformers episode where Wreck-Gar suddenly yells "Get back, Jack, do it again". Sure, it's Steely Dan's most popular song, but SD werent exactly that well known to the younger audience. And on that note, I still wonder if Aja from Jem is a reference to that song/album (though Aja is also a common Asian name), ditto Rio (for the Duran Duran song) and Rapture (for the Blondie song). Could be coincidence though.

Sesame Street has done parodies of Game of Thrones, Homeland, Boardwalk Empire, and other not-for-kids material.

Years ago my computer was in a different room. Which meant I would hear whatever was on the living room TV. Reba was playing, still say it is the unfunniest sitcom to last so long.
Reba's ex husband had a car with Onstar and he got locked in the car . He called Onstar and the onstar said "I can't do that Hal"
Yea a 2001 joke on Reba....I seriously doubt 90% of Reba's audience would get the joke.
But hey that unfunny show made me laugh one time.

There is a scene in Coming To America where James Earl Jones visits McDowell's and at the end of it where he says "No, do not alert them of my presence, I will deal with them myself." He's clearly doing it in his Darth Vader voice.
