We have no fanfare, now which major title switch events do you remember?
There was a deal made out of unveiling the Big Gold belt for the first time, of course. (had to be taken back cause the plate said "Rick Flair" though) There was a presentation of the first classic design I-C title for Tito Santana, and this was after Hammer broke the green I-C title. Which leads to....titles introduced because the previous was destroyed. The first WCW brand U.S. title is one. Did they make a deal of the green WWF title debuting after the Graham/Backlund angle? I'm guessing it was the green one... Probably doesn't count cause he didn't actually win it, but the Andre '87 WWF title. The Winged Eagle is retired and Austin receives Attitude era WWF title, Mk. 1.

The Million Dollar belt. For weeks they did vignettes of Dibiase making the belt and then he presented it on The Brother Love Show.

Ok if nobody else is going to say it, the Universal title getting the big unveiling only to be met with boos and multiple negative chants. Seth even took to Twitter to complain about those fans.

Foley introducing the 24/7 title….though saying it was met with fanfare is a stretch.

I still amazes me that WWE didn't just have the sense to show us what the belt looked like when they announced the damn thing. And then when they did bring it out before the belt, it looked way worse than it actually did because of how it looked in the lighting, with every groove in the leather being visible, making it look like it was made of licorice.

Well, the IWGP World Heavyweight Title was introduced with fanfare that no other title in New Japan history had, so I'd add that one.

WWF European Title in 1997 had me pumped. I thought it would be something guys like Bret Hart would go for too. Since he was a big draw in Europe, the belt was pratically made for him to defend it around the world.

Cody Rhodes cut a promo when unveiling the 80s throwback Intercontinental Title. That got a good pop from what I recall too.

Since he was a big draw in Europe, the belt was pratically made for him to defend it around the world. I do remember WWF having a European tour that ended up being something of a clusterf***, always makes me wonder if that's why the WWF lost interest in the title so quickly. I don't even hate, exactly, what the belt eventually became, but if it'd been introduced that way, like their equivalent to the TV title, it'd have certainly made people less bitter than what happened.
