1996: He uses "booty shaking" as part of his new babyface persona.
1998: Steals using the Stunner as a finisher when he becomes the Disciple.
Maybe Glen Gilberti WAS gifted!

The Disco Inferno was one of my favourite WCW acts.
He should come back to AEW for a farewell tour.

What's the main issue with Glenn? He's close with Vince Russo and takes jabs all the time to get attention on Twitter. Like, in the grand scheme of things, he doesn't seem like as bad as a Val Venis type, but he still does come off really bitter.

If Vince watched WCW in 1995, I would imagine him turning up his nose at Benoit, Malenko, DDP, Harlem Heat... and then being really disappointed that WCW creative came up with Disco Inferno before he did, because Disco vs. Man Mountain Rock was made for In Your House.

He was buddies with Chris Jericho in WCW and could have had lots of opportunities in the business because of that, but he chose Vince f***ing Russo.

He criticizes aew and other promotions and upsets their fans. That’s most of his twitter really. I don’t see him as bitter, but I’m not balls deep in his podcast or stalking his twitter. Normally i see him saying something like “ It's not a "bad faith" take to think maybe fans don't care to see wrestlers slapping their thighs, standing there waiting to catch dives, and letting the other wrestler forearm you in the face back and forth. But what do I know...” And then fans descend on him.

Whatever else I can say, the Disco Inferno character was an example of a midcard act done right. Lost art today.

When the WWF magazine article said "burn this mother down" I think it may allude to Real Double J, he used to say that after singing some of his With My Baby Tonight song, at least he did at the Survivor Series pre show. Though 'burn' and 'inferno' are similar and there was a rumor Disco was coming in as the protege in early 1997. I think it would have been better than Rockabilly. Rockabilly was a joke and not in a good way, he was a total jobber after a few solid years of being big in the tag scene. It also didn't help the song had no similarities to any kind of song in WWF at the time. It sounded like the first Honkytonk Man theme where you can barely hear the lyrics at a show. I think there was also a rumor Disco was coming in, in late 1997 because he was upset about losing to Jacqueline. I think he was let go for a bit but came back.
I actually liked Disco the entire time he was with WCW. I know it was a low card gimmick but he played it to perfection.

If he took part in the creation of his entrance song, I think it's safe to say Disco's top 5 all time.
YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH

It was an article about Honky Tonk Man looking for a new protege, and yes, the silhouette behind the article is absolutely Disco Inferno. I might even still have the magazine in storage. I think he was supposed to come in but it fell through, so Rockabilly happened instead. If you were watching at the time, you may remember Honky approaching both Jesse James and Billy Gunn on separate weeks and offering to be their manager, and both of them turned him down. So it was weird when just a week or two later he was managing Billy anyway.

I can never hate Disco Inferno because he came up with two of stupidest ideas never used in pro wrestling: Bill Ding and his proposed Martian invasion of WCW.

If only disco had an interview segment like Beefcake had The Barber Shop like maybe The Disco Hall He actually did have one back in the NWA/TNA days. It only lasted about three weeks, but he did have one.
