Haven’t done a deep dive (or any sort of dive really) in a while — has any of this content been uploaded to the Network?
There’s a wealth of stuff from that promotion that probably more people are familiar with since TBS had a national audience. Lots of stars from Ric Flair (from time to time) and Stan Hansen and the Road Warriors and the Masked Superstar, not to mention Abdullah and Andre and the original Sheik … too many to mention really. Almost anybody who was anybody did some time there.
If so, how much and what’s the best way to search it. I haven’t spend much time on it since the Peacock conversion (although I have it) other than to watch PPVs (current and old) which are easy to find.

No, it's not on the Network/Peacock.
WWE seems to only have the master tapes from 1983-84. Anything they've shown from 1980-82 looks like VHS transfers. I know that in 1992, WCW sought footage of the show from fans when they wanted clips to air on Clash of the Champions 20.

I’m really interested in stuff from the later 1970s in particular. You’d think being nationally televised on the first ‘superstation’ they’d have been ahead of a lot of other territories in having libraries.

I would imagine that a significant chunk of it is either lost or the tapes have deteriorated too much. I think a lot of companies and broadcasters didn't really start taking archiving seriously until the early eighties. It's a shame because there's a ton of stuff from that era I would also be curious to see.

I’m pretty sure I read at one time that Ole Anderson owns most of the Georgia Championship Wrestling footage. If that’s true don’t count on ever seeing it on Peacock. Like ever

Like ever I remember the story is that Ole's tapes were destroyed in a flood. It is sad that a lot of preservation of sports and other TV shows didn't start in earnest until roughly 1980. There is a wider conversation to be had about TV preservation as well. The one that mirrors wrestling is game shows. If the Goodson/Todman library is like WWF/E, Barry/Enright is WCW since a few early shows are wiped.
