Remember those promos when giant text would appear on screen when wrestlers spoke to add impact to certain words they were saying? And then sometimes, they added really cheap looking adobe effects to them too? Or even entrances? Case in point We all mocked this and in retaliation someone bought Kevin Dunn some second rate CGI software and we got crazy Bianca lips and giant chocolate Roman.

#RawActive This is when Raw first went to 3 hours permanently and they promised "the most interactive show ever". It was basically just fans voting on match types etc. but with options that would make Cyber Sunday embarrassed. Take for example the very first week of this. You get to pick the stipulation for the Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan match. The options? Street Fight, Falls Count Anywhere or No Holds Barred. Wow, what a diversity of choice! Similarly, the next week they had choose the guest on Piper's Pit. The options being Jericho, Ziggler or Miz. Jericho won...only to be interrupted by Ziggler and Miz anyway. In other words, WWE had written it all out anyway and just re-arranged who came out when. WWE have never done a great job of fan voting but this was probably their worst attempt yet. I think it became infrequent after just a couple of months and disappeared altogether a short time afterwards. I will never forget the night after WrestleMania 29. Big Show had just turned in his teammates, Sheamus and Orton, after they lost to The Shield. So they both wanted Show in a match. Let's leave it up to the fans! Show vs. Sheamus or Show vs. Orton? The fans chose Orton. But then WWE decided to throw the fans' choice out and just do Sheamus vs. Orton instead. The arena crowd was PISSED. The proceeded to shit all over the match, as well as the rest of the show, because their votes were invalidated.

This came and went so quickly, I had to Google it to make sure it actually happened. Who remembers WWE’s attempt at a ranking system, going so far as to make up an organization called The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Sciences? (Yes, they really used that name.) www.wwe.com/inside/power-rankings/power-rankings-february-12-2016

They have to be used to being locked behind bars at this point.

The 2/3 falls era that coincided with the edict that Vince apparently didn't want matches to continue through commercial breaks, so they created a variety of excuses just to justify it.

This current countdown to Cody thing has been kind of attempted a few times but never sticks. Sometimes during football season they’ll specifically announce a match or segment will happen at “half-time” and there was the thing with Lashley and Miz last year when they had the countdown to the match and Miz’s time running out.

Remember the electric chair.. That same show had a very lengthy, boring as all hell brawl through the crowd between Dolph and Xavier that felt super out of place but was clearly being done to try to one-up Moxley and Omega doing it.

When Matt cut a promo on his match with Jeff at WM25, music was playing during it I have a vague memory of a Kane promo having music playing during it. I think it was when he revealed he was the one that put Taker in a coma.

WWE attempted a rankings system on WWE.com called 'World Top Five'. It even had a picture of Vince McMahon on top of a giant 'WTF', which all got removed rathee quickly.

Another one I just remembered, that time they made a cartoon about Vince's ass that was blatantly a ripoff of Assy McGee of all things.

In case you doubted people saying so, from WWE's own YouTube Page: Funny part about this is the fact that they all vanished less than 90 days after they started, leading the majority of us to believe they legit used a trial license of Adobe Premiere to do all this nonsense!

I'm going to reply to this thread on Tout People joke about it, but the WWE made mone off of tout. They sold their stocks from it for millions. Or the Wildcard Rule? I'm glad they ditched that as it got confusing after a while. Vince himself sounded confused as hell when he was describing it... and then like they immediately broke it by having more people jump to the other brand than any numbers Vince said...

McMahon's Million Dollar Mania. They tried to literally pay people to watch the show. Still didn’t work.

The time on Raw where there was no authority figure to maintain order and everything was supposed the be bedlam (highlighted by a backstage bit where Batista was shown warming up and a kid 'photobombed' the shot).

The first couple of weeks after the draft split that led to litdown they made an effort to differ the production between the brands with new camera angles etc. Then it quickly went back to the Dunn style we all know and hate.
