I can't remember what happened on Raw from one week to the next, but I remember the f*** outta when SEE NO EVIL came out. Thanks, WWE marketing people!

Man, I remember the literal months of build up to the big reveal of why May 19th made Kane go berserk... only for it to be explained in a throwaway commentary line. Not even a proper segment, just Cole going "oh, btw, May 19th is the day Kane's parents died in that fire." Which, now that I think of it, brings up another question: why didn't The Undertaker ever acknowledge the date? The obvious, kayfabe-breaking answers are that he was on the opposite brand at the time, and the whole thing was just a massive publicity stunt for "See No Evil", but in kayfabe, Undertaker should have been affected by this as well. They were his parents too, after all, and he may or may not have been the one who started the fire, depending on which series of events we're supposed to accept. Looking back, that can be explained by just looking at what Undertaker was doing at the time. The Great Khali just debuted by going after Taker and became one of the few wrestlers ever to leave the Undertaker laying multiple times in succession. Taker really didn't have the capability to go over to Raw to try to fight his brother down from his May 19th induced rages when he's getting left laying every week by WWE's newest giant, much less one that seemingly had his number for a few years.
