I never knew Kane had strong opinions on the Curtain Call.

Funny they used that date in Kane's origin story, which involved fire damaging his life...
And they also released Revenge of the Sith on May 19th, about another character whose life was destroyed by fire (well, in a way).

Never forget when Big Show referenced it, but botched it and screamed "MAY 13TH!!" over and over...

20 years ago today was the first WWE pay per view - Judgment Day 2002. They had just gotten the F out a few weeks before.

My wife is away on a work training week and she had food delivered. No shit, the guy delivering it was called Kane.

Man, I remember the literal months of build up to the big reveal of why May 19th made Kane go berserk... only for it to be explained in a throwaway commentary line. Not even a proper segment, just Cole going "oh, btw, May 19th is the day Kane's parents died in that fire."
Which, now that I think of it, brings up another question: why didn't The Undertaker ever acknowledge the date? The obvious, kayfabe-breaking answers are that he was on the opposite brand at the time, and the whole thing was just a massive publicity stunt for "See No Evil", but in kayfabe, Undertaker should have been affected by this as well. They were his parents too, after all, and he may or may not have been the one who started the fire, depending on which series of events we're supposed to accept.
