Given that Ax and Smash didn't seem to have last names, I have trouble accepting that Pain and Destruction could be their middle names.

For a literal hot take, Kane wasn’t actually burned in the fire that killed his stepdad and mother. He just thought he was burned for years until he was forced to remove his mask by Triple H.

The Katie Vick angle was actually a great piece of comedic writing that was taken too seriously by the often misguided wrestling audience. The absurdist nature of the angle can only be seen as a spoof of soap operas, leaning heavily into the wrestling’s often characterization of being a “male soap opera”. It’s a truly misunderstood angle that has, surprisingly, aged extremely well despite most of the WWE’s offerings at the time.

I don't think BOSS TIME is actually recognized in any timezone. But VADER TIME is recognised in Greenwich Connecticut and Atlanta, Georgia. Also in certain regions of Japan.

I'm fairly positive Jake the Snake was actually a human. Next you'll be saying that Ricky Steamboat wasn't an actual Dragon. Or Davey Boy Smith wasn't an actual bulldog. Or Greg Valentine wasn't an actual hammer. (side note: isn't it a little sad that Valentine and Jim Neidhart didn't team up as a team called Hammer & Anvil?)

Contrary to what Gorilla Monsoon said, i'm not entirely convinced that Iron Mike Sharpe vs Leaping Lanny Poffo could main event any arena in the world.

RVD's frog splash was 4.5 stars at best. When I was younger, the way Rob would grab his ribs in agony afterward made me argue against his frog splash being "5 Stars". Suck it up, Robert.

This one isn't a joke answer. Just because someone was a star 10 or more years ago doesn't make them a legend. In fact the word legend has become so overused in wrestling that it's lost a lot of its meaning. I mean if every former star is a legend, then no one is a legend. I guess its just hard to find the right word to use so people gravitate to legend. To me the term legend should be used for the most elite of stars.

A guy who spent most of his career as an average mid-carder that we were suddenly supposed to believe was good enough to be a world champion in 2004?
