The "Forgettable world title reigns" discussion in WWE section made me think of this.
My vote goes to the few seconds where one of Godfather's ladies was Hardcore champ.

Randy Savage WCW Championship reign in 1995. It only lasted a month, but he was a fighting Champion.

Randy Savage WCW Championship reign in 1995. It only lasted a month, but he was a fighting Champion. It would have felt bigger had Hogan not thrown that hissy fit at the end of World War 3 when Savage won it. I’d argue that was even more of face Hogan being a dick than his shoehorning at WrestleMania IX was.

Edge’s 3 week reign in January 2006. It was his first title reign, first ever MITB cash in and Raw ratings went up because of it. Had a banger TLC match with Flair and the live sex celebration.
Should have really held the title until at least Mania but lol didn’t work for HHH.

I'd say Jeff Hardy as WWE Champion since he lost it at the next PPV. He was the first guy in over two years not named Orton, Triple, Edge or Cena to win the title. Unfortunately, it was right back to those guys for the next year afterward, with the exception of a very short Batista reign.

Hogan's one month 'thank you' reign in 02 was perfectly fine

Mr Bob Backlund’s second WWF Title reign consisted of an amazingly great promo, a house show match against Davey Boy Smith and then taking two moves from Diesel and selling them by crawling the entire way back to the locker room.
Perfection.

I remember hearing Michael Cole on a RAW from 1999 saying that Bob Holly held the Intercontinental Championship during his Bob "Spark Plug" Holly gimmick. I haven't seen any pictures or a video that shows him with it but I would really like to see

Perfection. Crazy old man WWF champion Backlund vs. Buzz Cut and newly turned heel Bulldog? Man, THIS I WANT to see.

I haven't seen any pictures or a video that shows him with it but I would really like to see He won it in a contested finish with Double J. It was immediately held up and then Jarrett won the rematch. Its not recognized as an official reign now, but it may have been back in the day.

That period from Late 96-98 When the WCW TV Title was seemed to be bouncing all over.

I haven't seen any pictures or a video that shows him with it but I would really like to see He didn’t. Cole in storyline got this confused with the moment when Bob Holly pinned Jarrett for the title but since Jeff’s foot was on the ropes, the title was held up less than an hour later. Bob’s title win was erased from the record books.

Perfection. Surprised Bulldog had a match so soon after Survivor Series considering he was unconscious for 15 mins during the title match.

That period from Late 96-98 When the WCW TV Title was seemed to be bouncing all over. Like title should and would if wrestling was real sport. One thing I never understood when it comes to those who protected the kayfabe and didn't want to expose the sport was their obsession with long championship reigns in order to make the guy "legit". In real world circumstances you would be more than lucky if could get two successful title defenses in a row.
