It really feels like we’re on the precipice of some very significant days for the WWE in the weeks ahead. As a fan for nearly 40 years it is very hard to express how much I hate all this stuff without seeming as if I am defending Vince or blaming Sasha for all the issues. Today is huge (if these stories are all true) and could continue to shape the WWE for the rest of its existence. So much of my childhood is wrapped in the figures, characters, and memories that it's easy to get defensive at times for the company as a brand and forget just how much bullshit they have gotten away with. Sucks all the way around as my 8 year old girls are fans of hers...They will not however be able to watch her on AEW as the content is not appropriate. I will say that IMHO most of John Moxley's fka Dean Ambrose's matches are too violent and probably should be reserved for PPVs. Also, the match Jericho had with Nick Gage was both pointless and obscenely violent. TK I find indulges some of the grapplers more than in should in regards to "garbage" matches. So, I do understand where you are coming from. While I'm a fan of AEW the organization is not without its faults. That said, Vince knowingly accepted a huge amount of dirty money from a group of autocratic, intolerant, misogynistic, religious nuts who enjoy a good beheading at noon (along with the other stuff he's done over the decades) so he can't enjoy the moral high ground in any argument just saying.

Yeah, if my 7-year-old son was into wrestling Leanne and I wouldn't let him watch AEW for the same reason. This is actually the first time I've thought about this, is it the swearing? I would also double down and say the moves on AEW while impressive are a heck of a lot worse to emulate. All kids emulate the moves regardless of the commercials

In answer to Mecca's question, the swearing plays a part for sure but as Rick Styles says it's more graphic and realistic compared to WWE as well. But since Peter has showed no interest in wrestling at this point than at least Leanne and I don't have to worry about him wanting to see it.

How I never hurt myself I don't know especially since I used to jump my window sill onto my bed to emulate Savage.

I do wonder. If Sasha's gone, I guess I can't say I am terribly surprised given past friction, but I am surprised they wouldn't sit on her longer first. If they did cut her loose, it's definitely an indication to me that they aren't in the mood for distractions for the office. Just... potentially distractions for everyone else.

She talks about how much she loves Japan all the time so if Stardom wants to make a big splash she could absolutely go to Japan. They'd probably use her better. I could see her doing a couple shows out of a passion project, but it's either AEW or Hollywood in the long run, because she can command a salary. The only way she's doing anything else is merely because she wants to. Indeed, though given her WWE run, unless she's been really foolish, she probably has "do what you feel like doing" money to last her a while. I do think that whatever she opts to do, it wouldn't be a terrible idea to go to Japan while the going's good since A. she can't use "Sasha Banks" and her pre-WWE resume isn't exactly robust, good opportunity to invest in herself, and B. better to wash off the controversy first. She's a big deal with or without it, so better to not have it be THE talking point.

Marvel is presented as a movie and they can reference that with cartoons and comic books...AEW is presented in a more UFC/BOXING'esque situation with the volume turned up. The NFL doesn't use razor blades and barbwire on national TV.

Because American Football is never on in our house (since neither Leanne or I are fans, we've never bothered) watch it but ''Soccer'' as Americans call it is on and we're ok with him watching that. Even got to take him to his first game this year as well. As for movies, we do tend to watch the movies first before letting him see certain movies and if we're ok with the content than we'd let him see them. We TRY to find the right balance when it comes to that stuff.

Yeah, if she has been released, today's breaking story had something to do with it. Whether it be a distraction, giving Sasha what she wanted to avoid any more blowback, or a combination of the 2.

I do wonder if I was running New Japan, AEW, (far more unlikely) Impact should I take a chance on fka Sasha Banks? Will she walk on me too if I book her in a way in which she objects? Is the risk worth the possible reward?
There I said it.

All I'm going to say is AEW doesn't have a Johnny Ace managing the women's division... so I imagine the odds of Sasha walking out are much, much lower...

Outward question, the reasoning for not letting your kids watch AEW is pretty valid... but if Sasha Banks is their favorite wrestler, unless Sasha is going full on hardcore insanity, would letting them watch just her matches in isolation be a big deal?
Outside of Baker and Rosa's craziness, the women's matches in AEW are relatively normal... it might be a case by case basis, but if that's their favorite wrestler, it would be a shame, to me, if they just... never saw her wrestle again.

Not everyone is the same and not everyone's situation is the same I don't want to label someone "A female MJF" to downplay her own, completely different situation as a joke. If AEW trusts Sasha, then AEW's gonna hire Sasha. She's a star and they'd be crazy not to try for an ace and one of the most well known women's wrestlers in her prime still.

My worry with her is when she doesn't have her way she throws a fit With AEW it seems that TK likes to be your friend and your boss at the same time and if he promise her shit and doesn't deliver she's going to throw a fit and it will be bad for both of them Sasha should be on thin ice but fortunately for her she's living on some goodwill due to where she is coming from
