This was a question on Jeopardy? Maybe he did but his Sith armor stayed.

Cause then Luke would have had to kill a stormtrooper and put him in the Vader costume for that cool viking burning ceremony.

That Jedi trick was taught by Qui-Gon to Yoda who taught it to Obi-Wan.

The offical line is that Anakin/Vader didn't know the Jedi ghost thing because it was knowledge learned after he became a Sith. That is why he didn't know what Obi-Wan was talking about before he killed him in episode IV

And why doesn't Luke bleed when he gets his hand chopped off?

And why doesn't Luke bleed when he gets his hand chopped off? My friend says it's because the lightsaber "cautrizes" (sp?) the blood vessels prohibiting it from bleeding ......lame So do so many other people. So then I ask why we see blood when that guy gets his arm chopped off with a lightsaber in the Cantina at Mos Eisley. No-one has answered that one.

Maybe it's because Lucas was doing so much Empire Stikes Back cocaine that he just kinda forgot.
And the luke thing makes sense. Extreme heat just solidifies the cut. Like when you have a shoelace that lost the end and you have to light it so it goes through the hole again.

Qui-Gon Jinn was the first Jedi to ever figure out how to keep his identity after becoming one with the Force. However even he was only able to appear as a voice (heard briefly in Attack Of The Clones and off camera in Revenge of the Sith). He, from beyond the grave taught this ability to Yoda who then taught it to Obi-Wan. Apparently Yoda and Obi-Wan were able to master the ability better than Qui-Gon himself (heck they had a lot of time on their hands to perfect it living as hermits for all those years). Hence this is why they disappeared when they died and later appeared as ghosts. Darth Vader as a Dark Lord of the Sith would not have disappeared. The question is why did he shows up as a ghost? My quess is that since he was the Choosen One and did indeed bring balance to the Force in the end he was granted that ability.

Would this discussion have been easier if the new trilogy never happened? I think so!

Who runs "the force"?
Is there like a "force god" who decides all this stuff?

So then I ask why we see blood when that guy gets his arm chopped off with a lightsaber in the Cantina at Mos Eisley. No-one has answered that one. Actually, I think starwars.com offered a decent explanation for that. Humans have softer tissues that "burn" closed more easily. You'll notice that Darth Maul, a Zabak, sprays a little blood when he first gets cut as well, but didn't bleed all over the place like the thug at Mos Eisley because he was of a species close to humans. Luke didn't bleed. Dooku didn't bleed. Anakin didn't bleed. It actually works out somewhat, so long as you assume that the monster in AOTC that Kenobi killed at the arena had soft tissue under it's exoskeleton (seeing as it didn't bleed either).

From my point of view, the Jedi are evil.

Who runs "the force"? Is there like a "force god" who decides all this stuff? That doesn't need to be explained since religions like Buddhism and some forms of Hinduism have energy forces that make up the universe and reality. Kinda like gravity except with "good" and "evil" being measured.

Is it possibly to like Star Wars without being a complete Star Wars geek-type?
For example, I grew up on Star Wars, and I saw the new movies when they came out. But it's not like I obsess over it and have a closet full of action figures.
