At least they were giving refunds, at the one venue. I wonder what injury this was. He wasn't doing a filming as far as I can tell. And if you ask Hogan, he'll tell you a lie. I do wonder how many people left with refunds. I'd have rather just watched the show. No one wrestler made or broke a show for me.

He worked the TV tapings a few days prior and was back by the 28th of that month so it was either something minor or he asked for a few days off and they just said he was injured.

Was this after the fireball angle? Yes… and no. The last match hogan wrestled he lost to slaughter via dq in MSG and he threw the fireball at slaughter this time. That was the beginning of June. Maybe hill hurt himself beating slaughter bloody. Too early for me nanny by about one year too late for suburban commando by 9 months.

"He'll be replaced by Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Refunds are available." I love it.

I'm curious how many days these ads ran ahead of the shows. The Columbus one visually looks like an emergency last-minute thing, with the Duggan news and the refund offer just pasted over Hogan's face, but the Toledo paper clearly had some time to recompose their ad a little more (and with no refund offer).

If I’m wrong please correct me lol. The listing for Albany isn't results. It's just a match listing based off of what was advertised either during the Event Center or in local papers. They usually don't change those listings on the site until they have confirmation of either results or a change in the card. Hogan most likely didn't make the Albany show either.
