June 24th, 2002 was the night that Vince McMahon gathered the raw roster in the ring in Cleveland, Ohio and asked which one of them had the ruthless aggression to seize an opportunity. It was John cena btw who answered the call as it were, and said it on air. It’s very weird to think that was 20 years ago today when I was 17 but it was.

Was fascinating listening to Cena watching his debut match back and effectively burying the whole thing as not actually being any good because they went way too fast and his character motivation was wonky.

Was fascinating listening to Cena watching his debut match back and effectively burying the whole thing as not actually being any good because they went way too fast and his character motivation was wonky. Cena's had a lot of great moments, but his SD debut is pretty overrated IMO. |

Where does ruthless aggression era rank for you guys? Behind Attitude Era, above New Generation, and behind Hulkamania era (mostly due to the boom period). It's also above the PG Era for the most part, and I'd say the ''Reigns Era''? I don't know what era you'd call this one but the PG Era for me was always about Cena so...Yeah, hope I answered your question  |

Wasn't really an era. It was something Vince said once, and an action figure line. Revisionist history turned it into an era.
