There have been plenty of threads over the years here about video game soundtracks, but I don't think there's ever been one for JUST video game songs with lyrics in them.
So, as such, I shall supply this one.
I have a few to list, but I'll just start things off for what was the catalyst for this thread, since someone reminded me about this song:

I'll start with a very recent example:
A Ninja Turtles X Wu Tang collaboration was that last thing anyone was expecting, but dang it just makes a good thing even better.

I considered Rules of Nature, Live and Learn, City Escape, etc, but I figure those are pretty well-known examples at this point, so how about something that's a bit less obvious?
In Ape Escape 2, Pink Monkey is a boss fight where one of the apes considers themselves a pop idol, and you must fight her as she performs, with her own music video playing on a screen on the stage with her. This is the song, "There Is No Escape".
I love the double meaning behind the song title, having this catchy earworm of a song performed in what is almost certainly an Ellen Greene impression, and the facade breaks as you fight her, with her getting pissed off and accusing you of jealousy.
Ape Escape 3 also has a song for her, but I don't find it anywhere near as catchy.

There's a certain game series that's famous for great music, mostly with vocals attached, that hasn't been mentioned here yet.
Allow me to get that ball rolling:

Hideo Kojima sure is a James Bond fan if he had the MGS3 theme done this way, as well as the credits done like a James Bond movie opening:
Also, MGS2 had a great closing song:
I also must mention the closing song from The Bouncer. Shanice Wilson sang it. Yes, as in the same Shanice who sang "I Love Your Smile" and "Saving Forever for You" in the early-1990s.
