So, I just won my heat of BBC quiz show Mastermind, and I’m absolutely buzzing. I can’t post about it on my social media, so I’m telling you, random folks I anonymously post about wrestling with. I’m in the semi-finals. I’ve got a 1 in 24 chance of winning the whole thing. I’ve already submitted my ideas for what my specialist subjects could be for the semis and grand final, and there’s nothing wrestling-related in there, but it’s up for negotiation and now I’m thinking - something like the WWF/E titre history or Royal Rumble matches, 1998-present, might work, right?

That’s really cool. I can only imagine how it feels to be in that dark studio and the iconic theme plays.
Any idea when it’ll eventually be broadcast? And best of luck for the next round!

The studio experience is weird. The walk to the black chair is a lot shorter than it looks on TV. No audience, so you’re looking at the back wall of a TV studio. A lot more stop/start than it looks on TV, too. It’s definitely going to be on in autumn / winter this year, but the schedule is yet to be confirmed

My specialist subject would be the life and times of Clive Myrie.
