Lol wow I know the last hour always has a drop off but is it usually that pronounced?

Lol wow I know the last hour always has a drop off but is it usually that pronounced? There’s typically a big drop but that is bigger than usual. Surprised the viewership was that high overall considering it was a holiday.

The overall number can be excused because a lot of folks never tuned in because of the holiday. But there were a lot of folks still watching in the 2nd hour who just turned off the show. Far more than usual. That is something worth thinking about.

Yeah, this is likely a one off because of the holiday but it also seems like a really specific one off? Like, something to note but also there didn’t really seem to be a non-holiday reason for it, especially since the main event was Becky/Asuka.

Becky/Asuka might be getting played out at this point, feels like they’ve clashed a lot the last couple of months.

They didn't really do a lot to inspire for this show tbh, but it was the 4th of July, I know I was only half paying attention and missed some parts live due to my local fireworks show. I imagine others weren't gonna be glued to an Ezekiel match over missing a party.

The last time they were on the 4th of July, the rating was low but the viewership basically stayed even the whole show. So this is a bit of a weird pattern.

I remember when I thought averaging 3 million viewers was low for Raw.... *sigh* Those were the days.

I didn’t get home until the 3rd hour and by that time, I turned on Netflix since I had missed the rest of the show

I mean, sure, but would have thought the street fight stip would have drawn a bit more, right? Especially as the likely blowoff for the time being.

Holiday fun and the News of other things that happened that day and people wanting an update on that likely played a part.
It's a big drop off, but it's not unusual, and there is still a crowd of people who a) dont like women's wrestling b) dont like women main eventing and c) dont like women in 'hardcore' matches, or a combination of a-c.
I would guess, though granted as an assumption, that some of those left watching regular live TV may fall in to that category given age, gender and possible location bias.
