They already got into their usually-a-team, sometimes-tease-a-feud loop as soon as Clash of Champions 2016. Then it only took another four years for the feud proper to happen.

I don't remember the quote, but it was when Foley came out and said the Third Hour of RAW was going to be "better" or whatever the hell he said. I wanna say something like darker and more serious maybe? I dunno. I've eaten a lot of paint chips.
