Not a TV show, but a shame that we didn't get more Cuddy in the Discworld. Was a fun character and would have been interesting to see how his friendship with Detritus would have developed or how he would react to Cheery.

K'Ehleyr was a great character on TNG with loads of potential that sadly went unexplored after only two episodes. Same actress played Dr Selar on TNG and the female Q on Voyager, who both should have been seen more often.

Still annoyed Mona Lisa disappeared after one episode of the classic TMNT. I always wanted to see Barney Stockman make another appearance, if only to see him and Baxter interact.

I wouldn't have minded seeing Shelby and Jellicho show up in more episodes of Star Trek. Jellicho verbally sparring with Sisko would have been a delight.

ER had a lot of great characters I'd have loved to have seen more of, but that is a product of it being on the air forever and the great writing it had for most of the time.
I think Alan Alda's character of the aging doctor/mentor with early Alzheimer's could have run longer. Michael Ironside's character was interesting but was gone as soon as he appeared.

I had been watching a lot of the old TMNT (the 1987-1996 version) and I think Mona Lisa should have appeared again. Yes, I know she was redone in the 2012 show and in the IDW comics, but it would have been great for her to return.

Poochie. Whenever he wasn't on screen I found myself asking, "Where's Poochie?".

Feech La Manna in the Sopranos. Robert Loggia was so great in those few episodes. The way they got him back in jail was brilliant though.... dummy just couldn't help himself. But, yes... Feech was tremendous.

Wish Crosetti didn't get written out so early in Homicide: Life on the Street's run. The character deserved better

I also just remembered that Sara Gilbert played an intern on the show and appeared in 15 episodes over the span of a few seasons and they kinda hinted something was "off" about her but I don't remember any resolution to it and she was just....gone

The trajectory of LOST is notorious: seasons one, four, and five were great, two was faltering, three and seven were pits. I just remember watching some of that awesome stuff in 4 and 5 and going, "Christ, just imagine how great this would be if Mr. Eko was still alive."

Still on the subject of TMNT, but Lotus Blossom should never have had only two appearances. She should have had more appearances. However, I have a theory that with Karai being created a few years after in the comics, then it would have been pointless for Lotus Blossom to exist. Then again, I had read that there was speculation that Lotus Blossom was inspiration for Karai. Then again, they're both female ninjas and they have different types of alignment. I also liked the chemistry Lotus Blossom had with Leonardo, despite her being human and Leo being a turtle.

God, don't get me started on how dirty they did Mr. Eko. If they had killed off Jack and Kate instead of Eko, I wouldn't have even batted an eye.

Nightbird from Transfomers G1. Yes, I'm sure she's made appearances is some comics or something elsewhere, but it would have been interesting to see her be a recurring threat. Especially since she pretty much punked out the Autobots in her one appearance on the show.

Especially since she pretty much punked out the Autobots in her one appearance on the show. OG Transformers had a lot of interesting characters that only appeared once or twice, like Kremzeek, Devcon the bounty hunter, Tracks's breakdancing friends, Powerglide's rich girlfriend, the mermaid that Seaspray fell in love with, the big game hunter who wanted Optimus Prime's head, and Elita One's all-female Autobot crew.
