Get in. Fabulous result.
A bit shaky this evening, but England were the tournament's best team on balance.
To be honest the opening goal deserved to win the whole thing by itself. Absolute filth.

THEY BLOODY WELL GONE AND DONE IT!!!!!
ENGLAND ARE UEFA EUROPEAN WOMENS CHAMPIONS!!!
what a loud though and fast paced game that was, hard tackling throughout with neither team giving an inch the goals were something too, a deft little chip in to put england in front, then a world class german finish to level ... and a long legged tap in to end it all!
AMAZING SPORT IS AMAZING WELL DONE THE LIONESSES

They did it! Congrats to England. Football has come home!
How good were England once they went 2-1 up? Managed the game so well in that last 10 minutes.

Well done Lionesses. They were the best team in the tournament and were deserving winners. The World Cup next year is perfect timing. If they do qualify, with their current mentality and team, they’ll be hard to beat.

I didn’t watch the game but it’s really nice to hear. It really did seem like their tournament to lose.
Winning an international title in Wembley in Germany feels just right.

I’m not even British, but I just can’t help but be happy for the England women’s triumph, which should give them a strong chance of being a favorite in the Women’s World Cup next year.

Next stop on the footy calendar, the official start of the Premier League 22/23 campaign, with Crystal Palace and Arsenal kicking things off on Friday.
Liverpool face off against Tony Khan’s Fulham FC on Saturday, and the defending champs Man City take on West Ham United on Sunday.

Phenomenal stuff from the England Women, that opening goal from Toone was liquid football.
As for Everton, I see them staying up only because I cannot see them sticking with Lampard.

They showed a replay of one of the England ladies getting chippy with a German.... told her to "F*** off". That's when I knew England were for sure going to win. Congrats!!!

When the Germans brought a tactical note onto the pitch and the England players tried to look at it, that's when I realised that these girls weren't messing around.
Wiegman had trained them not only in football tactics, but counterintelligence.

After what seemed like a month of negotiations AC Milan finally signed Charles de Ketelaere from Club Brugge. Brugge had a better offer from Leeds but CDK made it clear he only wanted Milan.
A lot of Milan fans are not happy with the transfer window but CDK and Origi combined with loan returns of Pogeba and Adli (Adli especially has looked like a beast this preseason) seems good to me. Milan still looking at Ziyech on loan. Sounds like Chelsea wants an obligation to buy where as Milan wants an option. And Milan continues to flirt with Renato Sanches who is holding out for PSG (signed the coach and Sporting Director from Lille)
Also saw the Everton talk I think a lot depends on the rest of the window. It sounds like they are close to bringing in Gueye, Gilmour, Borja, and Cornett... also maybe Barkley.
While not great that depth and trimming some more fat should help Everton stay up.
